I had the pleasure of visiting 146 BAR CAFFÈ at Via del Forte Bravetta 146 in Rome, and I have nothing but positive things to say. This small, family-run café has a wonderful atmosphere that immediately conveys a feeling of home.
The mother conjures up delicious, flavorful sandwiches and tramezzini in the small kitchen, which are fresh and tasty. The pasta dishes are equally select and excellently prepared. There's also a fine selection of wines that perfectly complement the dishes.
What truly makes this café special, however, are the warm people who work there. The friendly service from the father and daughter behind the counter makes you feel immediately welcome. The cleanliness of the place also contributes to a pleasant visit.
Another highlight was watching the neighbors come over for coffee and have lively discussions about football. Here, you feel like part of the community and discover a piece of ancient Rome.
Thank you for the wonderful time with you! I highly recommend this café and am already looking forward to my next visit.
