The only place in Lecco where you can drink good single origin coffee and sometimes specialty. Their basic coffee and many single origins are top notch, quality Brianza roasting. Unfortunately, single origins bought double often cost over 5 euros a cup, while in the center of Bergamo and anywhere else in the world they rarely go over 4, at around 3.50. Spending 6 euros for a cup of double that is not always perfect, due to the many blends that are not always very fresh, is therefore an experience that I do sporadically. For the rest, excellent coffee shop at hand. Often a bit of a queue.

The standout of this cafe was the helpfulness of the female staff member, she was so kind to educate us on the Italian way of the Aperitivo. Our lunch was delicious and nicely served.

A very nice and welcoming place, very close to the city center but still on Via Roma, the main road. Caffeina offers a wide variety of brioches with generous fillings. I ordered the raspberry one and recommend it. I decided to sit inside on the ground floor for a brioche and a macchiato (well-made). Everything was fine, except for the fact—I don't understand why—that 10 people who arrived well after me and ordered after me were served before me. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

I stumbled upon this small coffee bar in Lecco, and it was a pleasant surprise! The atmosphere was warm and unique, full of warmth and friendliness. The bar's second-floor mezzanine offers a stunning view overlooking the shop and the street, adding to the charm of the experience. The staff were friendly and polite, always smiling, and the service was very prompt. The coffee here is rich and delicious. This is a great boutique coffee shop!

08/03/2026: Stayed local and decided to go check the local food establishment. I walked in as a solo and was greeted with smiles. The menu was easy to understand even with it in Italian and me being English. I ordered a bresaola pizza and a milanese de cortaleta. The pizza was exceptional and the veil was cooked perfectly. For €30 two courses of this quality and a beer was fantastic value. I enjoyed it so much i went back the next evening. This time I had a carbonara with local lake fish which was creamy and delicious and a different pizza this time with sausages and prosciutto. Both stunning again and this time €28. The staff were friendly and helpful. Each night someone spoke enough English and me pointing to get by. I would travel a decent way to eat here again. One of my highlights of my Italian trip
21/02/2026: Valentine's Day dinner with friends, everything was delicious, the service was very friendly, we'll be happy to return.

15/03/2026: We visited this place, named after the nearby wine bar, in the Pescarenico area on a Friday evening during aperitivo time. The decor is a bit vintage, with beautiful antique mirrors, a large counter, and a large bottle rack. It was small and very crowded at that hour, so we found a seat on the enclosed, heated veranda at the back, which was still comfortable. The service was competent, albeit "verbal," in that the friendly young woman who served us didn't bring us a wine list, but simply listed the wine by the glass (therefore without prices). The quality of the wine served was good, as were the accompanying appetizers, and the bill was reasonable. It seemed a bit like a place for regulars, but we liked it, so I would return and recommend it.
