Caffè Wunderbar In Taormina

Great music and cocktails in the most prime spot of the Taormina Corso! What a beautiful view and magical atmosphere. It was so fantastic that we went back multiple times to enjoy the experience over and over.

Two Aperol cocktails for €20 each is a bit excessive. It's true we were seated at a table overlooking the sea, but I've had Aperol in many other places, and in comparison, this was more like an Aperol slushie than a proper aperitif.

One of the best-located terraces in Taormina This restaurant-bar enjoys a prime location with a very large terrace overlooking the sea. The place is very popular in the evening for a drink or a meal. What's special about it is that it's the only venue that offers live music with a singer or band. Jazz and soul music. A great way to start the evening, and it plays until midnight. The service is a bit slow when the terrace is crowded, but the waiters are very friendly.

Great wine menu! Beautiful spot to just sit and watch the world go by. Staff were attentive the whole time, providing small bits to snack on at no extra cost.

I've read many reviews about overpriced prices. You have to be aware that when you visit Taormina, it's going to be more expensive than usual. This starts with the parking garage... We visited Caffè Wunderbar several times to enjoy the view, the excellent service, and the good food and drinks. I can say the following about the service: Highly trained, polite, and attentive staff. Every guest was served with the same courtesy, whether they were ordinary tourists or stylish couples. When we asked the waiter if he knew what "Wunderbar" meant, he promptly gave us the correct answer. The Coke bottles were placed with the label facing the guest. New cutlery is immediately provided for the second course, and the waiter also asks how it tastes. For me, the service deserves a 5+! The dishes we ordered were all delicious and beautifully prepared. The pasta, as expected, was al dente and served with plenty of sauce. The salads were fresh and crisp. Even the tomato base was removed, and the kitchen staff was very attentive. The white chocolate mousse had an intense flavor, perfect. For us, the prices were reasonable for what was offered, and we will return to Caffè Wunderbar on our next vacation in Sicily.

A lovely spot in Taormina, the terrace in the shade was wonderful. We'd read about Liz Taylor and Richard Burton having been there before. We tried the cocktails named after them. And they were good!

An espresso is €5. You also have to keep in mind that you're right in the main square, and the terrace has a perfect spot. It's very pleasant.

A dream location high above Taormina. Perfect service, very flexible, even though we arrived with eight people without a reservation. We got the best Shakerado!!
