The arancini at San Lorenzo Café in Trapani were excellent—just as good as those from the highly recommended spot in Palermo. Crispy on the outside, perfectly cooked inside, and full of rich flavor, they were a true delight. The service was also outstanding—friendly, welcoming, and attentive. A great place to enjoy authentic Sicilian flavors with a warm atmosphere!

The cafe is across the street from San Lorenzo cafe. It offers Meinkl coffee, which is good/strong. Service is hurried and slow. Cleaning leaves room for improvement. The milk was served in a dirty container. The sugar dishes are also grimy. Shortly after being seated, the server started stacking the chairs of any open table. In all, Trapani has lots of better coffee shops with much better atmosphere

23/10/2024: Food was good. Somewhat small portions. Service, very attentive, friendly and not the “don’t feel like it” mentality. Then it can also be a little more expensive. Location is very nice on the beach.

11/03/2025: I had dinner here once and immediately felt very comfortable. Even though I was there 15 minutes before the actual opening time, I got a seat and was immediately served in a friendly manner. As a greeting from the kitchen I received delicious panelle that were really delicious. My pizza was very tasty and large, so I was really full and the wine (sfuso) came from a 0.75 liter bottle from the nearby winemaker Birgi. The price was completely okay and it was a cheap, high-quality meal with top service. It is absolutely recommended. Mille grazie
