Caffe' Sabini In Roma

I rarely come to Ostia, but when I do, this has become my go-to bar. I highly recommend it: the atmosphere is quiet and the place is particularly clean compared to the competition. The service is attentive and meticulously supervised by Monica, who works at the cash register and whom I've always found smiling and helpful. The pastries are excellent for breakfast and tea. The coffee is particularly good, which these days is no longer something you can easily find with guaranteed quality. I've been told the lunch menu is particularly good: with a varied menu and excellent quality. I haven't had the chance to try it in person yet, but the office I go to when I come to Ostia, which is less than 100 meters from the bar, has six employees, and everyone agrees that since the new management took over (early 2025), this is the place to eat best at competitive prices. The covered veranda with tables outside the bar is particularly appreciated, as are the tables in the internal corridor. Among the few places where you can peacefully have a coffee or tea, even in company, and be blissfully without confusion at all hours of the morning and afternoon

Every day I have both breakfast and lunch and both are the best of whalers, Monica and her husband are two exceptional people, easy-going and friendly. I recommend you eat at their place for lunch or even just try their croissants!

A simply wonderful place! The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, they make you feel at home from the first moment. The food is delicious: each dish is prepared with care and passion, the quality can be felt in every bite. The coffee is excellent, one of the best I've ever tasted, and the croissants are very fresh and fragrant, truly irresistible! The owners are wonderful people, always smiling and helpful, you can see that they love what they do. The place is impeccably clean and welcoming, with a warm and relaxing atmosphere. I recommend this cafe to anyone who wants to have an authentic and pleasant experience. I will definitely be back!
