I've been there several times, but the experience that deserves a special mention is the late-night breakfast, a real treat for those who experience the city outside of normal hours.

A popular meeting place for many Lucca residents before heading out of town or for breakfast on their way home. The staff are friendly and the place is clean, with a lovely veranda inside. It's also a great place for a quiet drink, as the noise level is low.

But between first excellent and staff, very kind

I had an aperitif dinner in this place consisting of a platter of cold cuts, 2 first courses and 2 glasses of white wine. I found everything to be of good quality and an honest price. The two of us spent 30 euros. The staff is very courteous and helpful.
