Caffè Mirus: a paradise of taste (even for the lactose intolerant!) I am a great lover of ice cream, but unfortunately I suffer from lactose intolerance. For this reason, I often give up this pleasure, reluctantly. However, during my last trip to Piazza Armerina, I discovered a real paradise for ice cream lovers (and not only!): Caffè Mirus. From the first glance, I was struck by the welcoming atmosphere of the place and the kindness of the staff. But the real magic began when I took a look at the ice cream display case: a riot of colors and flavors that literally made my mouth water. With a hint of fear, I asked if there were any flavors available suitable for the lactose intolerant. And, to my delight, the answer was yes! Caffè Mirus offers a wide range of 100% natural and lactose-free ice creams and granitas, prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. I couldn't resist the temptation, so I ordered a 2-flavored granita: "fiorone" fig and mulberry. And what can I say? It was the best granita I've ever eaten in my life! Fresh, creamy and with an authentic flavour, it won me over at the first taste. In addition to the goodness of the products, what makes Caffè Mirus truly special is the passion and dedication of the staff. You can see that they love their job and that they care about offering customers a unique experience. If you are looking for a place to enjoy real Sicilian artisanal ice cream (even if you are lactose intolerant!), Caffè Mirus is your ideal destination. A true paradise of taste that will leave you speechless!

Gelateria carina in centro a Piazza Armerina, con bel cortile. Gelati validi, ma prezzi decisamente troppo alti per la zona.

Pure Sicilianness, many high quality Sicilian granitas made to perfection, served with a smile in a beautiful environment. You can also choose Fernando's granita, the granita that is enjoyed while walking.
