The beds were uncomfortable, with pillows and mattresses too hard. The food was only partially good. The TV didn't get many channels, and the lights didn't work in some rooms. The location is very bad.

Spent one night on a typical business trip. The double room for single use on the seventh floor was spacious enough, but not up to the standards of a 4-star superior hotel. The shower tray and cubicle were missing, and the tiles were damaged. The wall-hung bidet leaked water, causing the bathroom to flood. The breakfast was very commercial.

This "Grand Hotel" is showing its age. They've done away with the spa, the restaurant serves "Spaghetti di Cecco" (better than the kind in the blue box... okay), and the "Excellence Hotel" label has long since started peeling off the corners of the window. However, our five-year-old daughter was thrilled with the spacious dinosaur-themed room, where, among other things, a small dinosaur head—a Veloziraptor, according to her—peeks out from the wall. They even have a small outdoor playground, which is surprising in Ravenna (I don't know what the children usually do there; they're probably in a museum). The staff, especially at reception, are exceptionally friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The location is ideal for those arriving by car: right on the main road, ten minutes from Dante's tomb and Galla Placida.

A large hotel in a great location just outside Ravenna's city center, which is just a few kilometers away by car. We booked the Mirabilandia-themed room, which was very spacious and comfortable. The hotel is a classic convention hotel, quite modern and equipped with many amenities. The international breakfast buffet includes sweet and savory options, juices, fresh fruit, cold cuts, omelets, and more. The only downside is the room, which is very dim. In other words, there are too few light fixtures! Cleanliness is average. Private parking is available.

For us, the location was perfect. We were close to the center of Ravenna and found parking along streets near the center. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean. We were a bit unlucky with breakfast because so many tourists stayed overnight during our weekend, and since we got up late, we found little choice.

This weekend we had a group of 45 adults from Croatia at the hotel. They were very satisfied with the service, especially the friendliness, the food, and the cleanliness. Highly recommended.

The hotel room is clean, as clean as it can be. The worn silicone in the bathroom cannot be cleaned, it needs to be replaced, but despite that, it is clear that it has been cleaned and that they are trying. The bed was comfortable and I must admit that I got a good night's sleep. Breakfast and dinner were better than expected. The breakfast is extremely rich and plentiful. The coffee is perfect, as is the friendliness of the staff.

Hotel Derby

18/07/2025: Excellent hotel in Milano Marittima Everything was top-notch, from the rooms to the food. Being gay, I also met a nice guy named Carmelo, and we had a wonderful time together.
13/07/2025: For the first time at this splendid hotel, partly by chance, partly for a change from the classic Riccione... we had a wonderful time! Despite some misunderstandings about the reservation, everything went smoothly thanks to their excellent organization! We stayed for 4 days, but we truly relaxed... starting with the room: spacious for a double, a single, a crib, a stroller, and children's toys...over 20 square meters! Spotlessly clean, with parquet floors and white sheets and bedspreads without a single mark! The restaurant is spectacular... first and foremost for the people who work there, the perfect maître d', both in terms of organization and attitude, the fantastic, kind, and friendly waiters... they always found a solution to everything and helped us a lot with the kids, even though we made a mess at every meal! And then for the food: so much variety, balanced with meat, fish, and vegetarian options, always three first courses and three second courses to choose from, a very convenient buffet service, and an excellent wine list! The bar is all good; just a little more staff would have been perfect. The pool is comfortable and clean, with always-useable hot showers with soap, a whirlpool, a fitness room, and a children's pool. Location: incredible! 20 meters from the beach, just cross the new promenade and you're there. For those who prefer, Papete is just 50 meters away, but it's not a bother at all! The hotel is family-run, and you can feel it. The atmosphere is welcoming and warm, the lady is always on point in whatever role... her son's wine selection is interesting! We hope to return soon! A year later, nothing has been lost, pampered as always! We'll be moving our residence here...
