Caffè Lido In Roma

A great place to enjoy a perfect cup of coffee and take a rest while waiting for a transfer. The staff are friendly and helpful. It’s just a regular café near the station, so I didn’t expect much from it, but luckily it cheered me up with a really delicious cup of coffee.

Had planned on picking up a coffee on way to train however we were running late and wanted to get to the station. Once we arrived I saw this cafe. My gut was saying that a train station coffee can’t be good. Wow was wrong! Went in and ordered a macchiato. She charged me 1 euro. I had my macchiato in about 30 seconds and it was excellent. I spent a month in Europe on this vacation and this was one of the best espresso I had. . Food looked great but I didn’t try it. Wish I could remember the brand of coffee they used. Try buying an espresso in the US for a dollar.
