Caffe Lago In Stresa

Ora il locale si chiama lemontree ed è in pratica una tavola fredda che offre panini, insalate, piatti freddi e dessert. Sono stato qui a pranzo con mia moglie e figlia, il locale dentro è bellissimo, pieno di cimeli rock come chitarre autografate da grandissimi artisti, locandine, dischi.. davvero bello. Abbiamo mangiato un panino al prosciutt, un salmone affumicato con verdura e ed un altro panino al pollo, un tiramisù, birra, un calice di vino, acqua. Cibo buono, servizio ok, prezzi abbastanza alti

As we had visited Isola Bella several times and had been to The Lemon Tree, we decided to pop in again. We decided to sit inside rather than on the terrace as it was a wet day. To warm ourselves up we had a coffee and a muffin each. Coffee was hot and the muffins, an apricot one and a blueberry one were excellent. We returned later on to have a snack at lunchtime and decided on a Caprese Salad to share and 2 beers. Even though the cafe was busy service was very quick and efficient. We had visited the cafe a few days before in the sunshine and sat outside having a coke and an Aperol Spritz. The cafe was very busy, but the staff recognised us from previous visits and had time for a few words.
