The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, making you want to come back for that alone. The food is also wonderful, especially the pasticciotto, the coffee, and the rustico leccese. I recommend it without hesitation!

We had a wonderful experience at Caffè Italia. We stayed with friends for a week in Taurisano, and this was our go-to café for delicious pasticciotti, Lecce coffee, and more. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. I would return a thousand times over; we were so lucky to have this café right across the street from our house. Thank you for your kindness and professionalism; we felt so welcome.

Excellent pastry shop with a wide selection. The pasticciotti are delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would definitely return if I were to vacation in Salento again.

After enjoying a delicious panettone with berries and white chocolate, I repeated the recipe with a delicate, light, and soft Colomba cake with strawberries and lemon. We've never had one before, and we finished the Colomba cake on Easter Sunday! Congratulations on the excellent quality of your products!

03/01/2026: We stayed on December 29th while hiking in Salento. The property was well-heated, the room and bed were comfortable, and very clean. Upon arrival, we were provided with a small welcome buffet with sweets and tea (much appreciated), and the morning breakfast was adequate and varied. Recommended 👍
02/11/2025: I'm going to stay at this property today. I'm already giving it 5 stars because of the kindness of the lady who hosted me. She made herself available right away when I introduced myself. I'll let you know how it went in the next few days.

PERLA SARACENA RESTAURANT & HOTEL

11/11/2025: The hotel is in a perfect location – close to the sea, with a beautiful terrace perfect for relaxing. The service was very friendly, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The only downsides are the walls in the room and the patio furniture, which could use some updating, but other than that, the stay was truly enjoyable. Breakfast sometimes lacked fresh vegetables, but overall it was good. The restaurant serves delicious food. A beautiful place that I would happily return to.
03/11/2025: Our stay was perfect. The staff were super helpful even though they didn't speak much English.
