Caffe Impero In Brescia

Nice cappuccino for €2. A bit noisy though.

I am writing because even though I have been frequenting the place for a long time, which I find very pleasant and with excellent brioches, I found myself facing an unpleasant situation due to the fault of a waiter. Not being young nor in skimpy clothes, I and even with friends had to wait up to 20 minutes to be served. Lastly, even though he was not the cashier, he made me pay €4 for each drink served at the table. The same that I normally paid the previous days. I am sorry that due to the fault of one person a company that is part of the history of Brescia is penalized.

A nice memory. During a rainy afternoon, visiting the center of Brescia, I chose to enter this delightful place. I waited for it to rain while writing documents on my cell phone at my table, and I must say that I was very impressed by the courtesy and attentiveness of the staff. I had a coffee, a fruit juice and little else, all served quickly and in a very kind and discreet way. Above all, the waitress who served me and the counter staff were welcoming, despite having kept a table occupied for them for more than an hour. And I saw that they also showed kindness to some families with children (who in other places are rushed to get them out) and didn't send away a homeless person who sat at a table for a while. They are rare things and I was pleased to see them. The most "exclusive" places are truly those where everyone feels welcomed. It may have been more than a month but it is still a welcome memory.

Due Spritz Campari e uno Spritz Aperol - o Pirlo come lo chiamano qui - più tre toast ci hanmo soddisfatti, così come il servizio, al Caffè Impero in pieno centro a Brescia. I prezzi non sono magari popolari, ma siamo stati bene ed è quello che più conta.

Very nice coffee with a great cappuccino. Both the “normal” and the cappuccino with soy taste delicious. The croissant with apricot is also delicious. The service is also friendly and quick. And you can also sit comfortably, ideally on the green sofa at the back. We'll be back.

Excellent very central café: the shaken coffee is very good (...but be careful that the senior barista makes it for you!). Courteous staff. Absolutely recommended
