Excellent historic pastry shop. The cafeteria is also good. I recommend the profiteroles...superlative in all the flavors offered.

The employees at the counter are very rude, I stopped by a couple of times to get take-away pastries and to ask for information on Easter eggs and/or panettone when they were available, and every time they were rude, they seem like people who don't know how to behave in contact with the public and doesn't want to do that job, if I asked them the flavors of the pastries since they aren't written on the front every time they responded in an annoyed manner and as if it were an absurd request, very often they didn't know them not even the flavors of the various pastries, but don't they know the importance of allergens? Nowadays there is an obligation to write down allergens, I have various intolerances and allergies and it is not possible that a sales assistant should answer you in a rude manner and look at you badly when you ask him what is inside the pastry (since you can't see it from the outside) as if it were a strange question then, when it is literally your job to say the tastes of the pastries if you work in a pastry shop, it will certainly be a historic pastry shop but failed from the point of view of education, it's a shame because once upon a time I would have also made my birthday cake here and other cakes for the holidays, I thought about it, but then seeing the rudeness I decided to go to someone else, it's a shame because if it's so historic it should maintain a certain range and hire more polite people

Today appearances prevail and many pastry shops follow the wave of the moment... Here, however, there is tradition, quality and substance, seasoned with polite and empathetic staff... ... Truly a place where you can get everything and be satisfied....! But the staff should be more attentive and not talk to each other without caring about the customers..... too bad.....! I noticed some improvement in the staff....!

I booked a cake for my graduation, listing in detail the decorations I wanted and indicating that I preferred payment on delivery. On the day of the party, the cake did not have any of the requested decorations, the few decorations present were banal and I was charged a surcharge of 22 euros for the addition of 600 g not agreed upon and for the transport of which I had not been informed. Furthermore, I had to return to Bari specifically because they didn't make me pay for the cake on the spot even though I called them back immediately after delivery for payment. The quality of the cake is good, the service leaves something to be desired. I would add that at the time of booking the lady I spoke to marked my requests, assuring me that they would be satisfied, nevertheless the result was disappointing.
