I happened upon Caffè Don Soria at lunchtime, with the idea of grabbing a quick toast before returning to work. However, as soon as I saw the abundance that the incomparable chef, Simona, was serving, I opted for the full menu. Since then I have had lunch here almost every day and have savoured first courses and first-rate dishes, always very fresh and worthy of a starred chef. The menu varies every day, from agnolotti and rabaton from our area to typical dishes from other Italian regions, such as ossobuco, Venetian-style liver, oxtail stew... Always different sauces, to discover and, if you prefer to keep it lighter, soups, chicken or meat and grilled or boiled vegetables, salads... Mineral water and drinks in general, as well as coffee, are included in the price and, with a little extra, you can have fresh fruit, fruit salad, ice cream or the dessert of the day, often freshly baked, always prepared by the skilled hands of Simona. The service, by Rachele and Simona, is always fast and punctual. The place is simple but welcoming. To try and never leave.
