I've been to Gran Caffè Gambrinus and, honestly, I expected more. The place is historic and very beautiful, but the service was inattentive and didn't live up to its name. Regarding the desserts, I have to say they're better: they're beautiful to look at, but the taste didn't impress me as much as I'd hoped. Overall, a decent experience, but not as special as I imagined.

I sat down for a coffee and baba outside. Given all the positive reviews, I was expecting something very different. The coffee was decent, and the baba was very ordinary, not worth the €10 service charge. It's better to drink it at the counter, but there are other places that are better, maybe just the name...

Excellent coffee and service, good food. Ice caffeine is our favorite. The iced coffee is delicious, and it's much cheaper to drink standing up than sitting down. Standing is the traditional way to drink it, and we all tried it! 😁

09/11/2025: The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide selection of sweet and savory options, and a frothy cappuccino from a real café! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with an almost surreal Christmassy atmosphere that makes everything magical. Our room, in perfect mountain cabin style, was welcoming and meticulously maintained. The staff was incredibly kind and always available, accommodating our every request with a smile. A truly special experience, one we'll definitely repeat!

17/08/2025: High prices, we waited over an hour for two Margheritas, and I can assure you there wasn't much of a rush. The waiters were kind, though. It was freezing cold.
10/08/2025: I often go to this place. It's very modern and refined. Frequently frequented by good people and many families and young couples... They have a playground for children with entertainment in the dining room... The service sometimes suffers from overcrowding, but that said, the guys do a good job... The rotisserie that accompanies the appetizers is always fresh... They make good pizza, and the appetizers are very generous. We had Two Cokes accompanied by two trays of rustici (mini pizzas/Neapolitan sandwiches). We paid €13.50 for a creamy coffee. I recommend it. Oh, I recommend asking for Antonio, he's very kind and helpful with everyone.
