A historic Neapolitan restaurant. I stopped here for its historic character. The place is very beautiful, but it's a shame about the lack of attention, dirty mirrors, and a slightly shabby atmosphere. I hope it was just a fluke, given the influx of tourists. The service isn't up to par; I've honestly never experienced the much-lauded Campanian warmth here in Naples. The food is average, nothing memorable, nothing bad. Perhaps a bit touristy, but the location is still worth a visit.

Historic bar in the heart of Naples. Lovely outdoor seating and waiters in elegant uniforms. We enjoyed an aperitif, but the appetizers were a bitter disappointment. It lacks the freshness and deliciousness typical of Naples. In short, a place to rip off tourists.

Overall, a quant and vast options cafe with hospitable staff and elegant light grazing, here's why:
☕️Cafe, pastry and food
The food/beverages are delicious whether savory, a pistachio crema cafe or a cocktail.
🤵Staff
The staff are all classily dressed, friendly and always provide you a wntre of nuts and snacks with your order- they have adorable flags on them too.
🧭Location/view, bang smack in a scenic area by Palazza del Plebistico, you can see the Napoliteans and the tourist go by and after youve have a refreshing cafe or pastry go via toledo through the naples shopping district.

A real gem, historically speaking.
But it has its limitations.
Serving at the counter is affordable.
Sitting down is definitely expensive.
I had a coffee and a pastry.
The coffee was cold, so I told the waitress about the problem.
The waitress disappeared into thin air when I tried to explain the problem.
The pastries are decent, but not excellent; that's my opinion.
Thanks. P.S. I must say I didn't mention it before. When paying, I turned to a member of staff, and after explaining the coffee problem, he offered to make me another one for FREE.

I stopped at this Neapolitan restaurant, a prime example of Italian cuisine, for an afternoon snack, and despite the city being crowded with tourists, I quickly found a spot outside. The coffee and dessert were excellent, the service was good, and the prices were reasonable.

The service from staff is terrible (they didn't come to our table even if we called them several times). Inside of building and Maritozzo are good.

This is the cafe and coffee shop I've always wanted to visit. I think a table seat would be best. The counter seating also has a nice atmosphere. The maritozzo is delicious. The Sicilian pastries were a little too sweet.

Sono stata in questo bar oltre che per il caffè al volo anche per la colazione: caffè squisito, dolci molto molto buoni, dal cornetto alla sfogliatella e soprattutto una nota di merito al personale: gentili, accorti e divertenti ! Lo consiglio vivamente a tutti e la prossima volta che saremo a Napoli sicuramente ci torneremo...forse ancora con il libro dei dinosauri!

Bar con una storia alle spalle, ma la storia non basta se non ci sia adegua ai tempi che cambiano. Il caffè non è più così buono e anche gli altri prodotti provati non mi hanno entusiasmato.
