Caffè D'Epoca In Napoli

Coffee and desserts very good, the service a bit slow and getting the check slow. Could use another person grabbing checks, very nice inside

I really like this restaurant. I feel like I'm eating real food, not syrup or industrial food.

Really good coffee, good tiramisu, amazing strawberries. Would really benefit from air conditioning in there during summer months.

It's upscale, but worth the money!

Great place but the indoor seating needs to be open sooner. Loved the chocolate croissant. We couldn’t go back the next day because the indoor seating wasn’t open before 9am. Also, because I couldn’t get in here I found a place next door with way better coffee. The Professoro Brand. So that’s was cool.

Nice atmosphere, but that's obvious. Average food, nothing spectacular. Overpriced. But that's also obvious. The older waiter is terrible. We go in and ask to sit down, a guy at the cash register sends us ahead saying "wherever you want". We arrive in the room and head for the first empty table. The older gentleman starts with a very rude invitation not to sit there as it's a reserved table. Perfect, we change tables, approaching one where a couple had just got up, so they still had their things on it, thinking that like every bar on the face of the earth the table would be cleaned later. The very annoyed waiter tells us that we absolutely must not sit at an uncleaned table "because we've already forgotten about covid". Perfect. We wait and he "cleans" it by wetting the rag in a bucket of water that had been there for who knows how long. Leaving crumbs and dust. First of all, it's absolutely not a problem to have two crumbs on the table... but if you make a scene at least then you work well 😂 and if I can give you some advice, try looking at the customers and smiling while you put things on the table, the effect changes. I'm sorry if your job bothers you so much, but it's not our fault. That said: beautiful place, nice experience, definitely average food and coffee. There are better ones at a lower price.

It is one of the most historic places in Italy, overlooking Piazza del Plebiscito and Palazzo Reale... Given its location and, above all, its fame, it is not surprising that every time you enter you have to queue for everything. A wide range of desserts, ice creams, aperitifs... There is practically everything your palate desires!

Sono stata in questo bar oltre che per il caffè al volo anche per la colazione: caffè squisito, dolci molto molto buoni, dal cornetto alla sfogliatella e soprattutto una nota di merito al personale: gentili, accorti e divertenti ! Lo consiglio vivamente a tutti e la prossima volta che saremo a Napoli sicuramente ci torneremo...forse ancora con il libro dei dinosauri!

Bar con una storia alle spalle, ma la storia non basta se non ci sia adegua ai tempi che cambiano. Il caffè non è più così buono e anche gli altri prodotti provati non mi hanno entusiasmato.
