Caffe' delle Carrozze In Chiavari

We visited this place on New Year's Eve, around 3 PM, literally fleeing the rudeness and lack of welcome we'd experienced in the historic establishment across from the Caffè delle Carrozze. We were therefore in a state of irritability and decidedly not the best, but the welcome here was immediately kind and attentive, even warm, I'd say. After describing the dishes of the day, the lady serving us suggested a few small changes to the menu that perfectly met our needs. Within minutes, our mood had completely changed and was further improved by delicious sandwiches, a generous salad, and glasses of Franciacorta Contadi Castaldi. The desserts to finish were also very good, and the bill was fair and reasonable. We therefore recommend this café both for its welcome and customer service, as well as for the quality of its offerings and professionalism!

Simply fantastic, an old-school Italian breakfast, but vegan. A great selection of vegan brioche and cornetti, and all kinds of plant-based milk available. I've really missed this!

Chocolate pasticciotto, a treat to try

Very good, nice terrace, toast and salad 🥗 good service in the heart of Chiavari.

I've been coming here for breakfast for years. The cappuccino always has a wonderful creamy spread on top, and the focaccia is fresh and delicious. Sometimes I get the eggs and bacon, which are excellent. The owner, Paola, and the girls are always friendly and helpful! Well done, and thank you.

Personally, I wouldn't return to this place for breakfast. I didn't like the food or drink, and I didn't appreciate the waitress's not-so-friendly payment at the table when I received my breakfast. That's never happened to me.

Excellent aperitif!!! Wide selection of cocktails, including non-alcoholic ones. For €10 (non-alcoholic) or €11 (alcoholic), they offer a wide variety of appetizers. In addition to the "usual" chips and olives, you can enjoy various tramezzini, small crostini, focaccia samples, and two fried foods. Excellent value for money. The only small flaw: the outdoor tables are very close together.

We had to wait a bit for our order, unfortunately the waitress was alone and did what she could.
