While the staff is unfriendly and almost rude, the coffee is exceptional. €2.50 well spent. This cafe is in front of St. Catherine's Basilica, easily accessible with clean bathroom.

Amazing “home style” food. We had three different dishes and they were all excellent. Great service and a perfect spot to have lunch. Highly recommend!

Sotto la caldana estiva stavamo aspettando che aprisse la chiesa di Santa Caterina. Il caffè della Basilica era chiuso ed il gestore o il titolare stava scaricando del materiale. Senza che gli avessimo chiesto niente ci ha regalato una bottiglia d'acqua che è stata bene accetta. Questa è la gentilezza del sud. Grazie

17/11/2023: Compliments to the chef, he knows what he is doing. The combinations are fantastic, the Burratina, the Beef Carpaccio, the Paccheri and the fillet were a delight and to be recommended.
