Caffe' del Teatro In Fiuggi

A magical place to have a delicious cappuccino and fantastic pastries but I was really impressed by a product called "Amaretti Biscuits" (of their own production) truly exceptional it's worth going to the historic center of Fiuggi... what can the staff say together with the owner they were impeccable, a big THANK YOU!!!

Took a bike ride up to the top of the hill and stopped off for a cappuccino and pastry. So glad I did! The cafe is amazing and the staff, Paola, Mimi & Lorenzo were so friendly. Thank you 🙏🏼

phenomenal, never seen such friendliness and attention in doing things, in a bar... highly recommended. Kindness and courtesy accompany every moment you want to spend in this café. Every object found there has its own story, the place is very well looked after in every little detail. The desserts... delicious not to mention the homemade ice cream. I will return whenever I can there with immense pleasure!

It is a charming place, with attention to the smallest details from the furnishings to the service. I ate an unforgettable ice cream produced by them. A cup of fjords Amaretto milk with waffles and sublime amaretti.

This small and beautiful cafe is located in Fiuggi's historic district, across the piazza from the 1911 Grand Hotel/Theatre with which it shares its history. The friendly owner, Paola, whose grandmother had learned the recipes for making the cafe's pastries from the Hotel's own chef while working there, prides herself on making everything by hand. The end result is elegant, exquisitely delicious, and well worth the price of admission, but often vanishes way too quickly from your plate as a consequence, so patience and the ability to savour are a must. The tea selection is excellent, and the late 19th/early 20th century "tea room" look, replete with historic photos of the cafe and hotel, complete the atmosphere. The place is often busy with clients, but the best experience comes during off-peak hours. Make sure to chat with Paola if you can!
