Caffe Del Rondone In Bologna

08/12/2025: The place is welcoming, and the staff is friendly and attentive. It's one of those old-fashioned trattorias where you can feel at home. The food isn't up to par with the service and the place, though it's generally good. What we liked least were the tortellini, whose broth wasn't up to par with others we've tried at other restaurants, as was the tagliatelle with meat sauce. The duck breast and, especially, the cheek were truly noteworthy. The desserts were good, but not particularly outstanding.

27/11/2025: A trattoria a little out of the center, with pleasant service managed by the owners. The menu, while respecting tradition, has its ups and downs; some are excellent (galatina), others less so (risotto). Definitely worth trying again to learn more. Portions are only adequate (tagliata), hence the three-star service. Value for money tends to be on the expensive side.
