Caffè del Duomo In Tuscania

In the historic center of Tuscania, on the main street. Plenty of outdoor tables in the square in the summer, as well as seating on the veranda and inside. A beautiful location; you'll discover the rest for yourself. A pleasant stop.

Practically on the shore of the Po Delta mouth, in Porto Garibaldi. We got there by bike from the Lido degli Estensi, taking the ferry across the water for 0.80 cents per person and bike. Very nice place, stunning view, friendly staff, very good and quality food. The tuna steak was exceptional, the grilled sea bass with grilled vegetables was very good. Worth it.

Excellent location, in the center of Tuscania. The service could be a little improved, but otherwise, it's a pleasant evening.

This is truly a place with charm. Friendly staff, delicious food and great atmosphere.

The bar is very beautiful, with carefully crafted furnishings, beautiful umbrellas, and splendid plants arranged in carefully chosen planters. The service in our case was quick and friendly, but… All the enormous objects I've listed take up more than half the surface area of Piazza del Duomo (about 30 tables + furnishings!). In complete disregard for the original design of the church, the fountain, and the perspective of the square, this is now a huge outdoor area. Until a few years ago, you could observe the original effect: entering from Contrada Via Maggiore without great expectations, finding yourself faced with an extraordinary fountain, the perspective of the open square, and the Duomo in the distance, dominating the foreground. Now, following a typically Italian trend, the City Council has given its approval—for reasons I don't understand—to this privatization of the square, which I hope will at least cost the bar owners a fortune. Let's hope this trend of monetizing Italy's most beautiful public spaces for private gain, in the name of a god of tourism to which everything must bow, ends soon.

Typical Italian cafe, in the morning the coffee and croissants are excellent and later we taste the traditional panini and trapezoidal, accompanied by the most varied drinks.

Highly recommended We had breakfast, delicious homemade cake. Location 🔝 in the square... and the girl who came to take our order was very, very nice, helpful, and attentive. Great young people.

After some time in the car, this stop for coffee and then a walk with a view was something I can highly recommend.

In the central square of Tuscania, a great place to relax

We arrived at this place after 3pm, hungry and tired. The service staff, very kind, friendly and nice, welcomed us with sympathy, understood the situation and made us sit down for a platter and some hot sandwiches. The atmosphere and staff were very, very, VERY welcoming, highly recommended! We will not forget you 💕
