Caffe degli Innocenti In Firenze

I just arrived home from a four-month semester abroad in Firenze and I used to come to this cafe every morning on my way to school. The staff were the kindest, most welcoming people I met in Firenze and seeing them always made my day! I always got a brioche alla crema, which was very delicious and the perfect start to all of my mornings. I miss coming to this cafe, and it will be the first place I return to the next time I'm visiting Firenze!

I really enjoyed it! The coffee that the hotel next door provides, panini, juice, cornetto and coffee/cappuccino. Everything was great!

Everything is freshly baked, plus the service is fantastic and the atmosphere is very pleasant.

Visited on October 20, 2025 It seems to be a popular cafe among locals commuting early in the morning. It's tucked away on a corner in an alley near the station. It's not a large store, but it's beautiful. The outdoor tables are small and cozy. Cappuccino €2.80 Croissant €1.30 They even brought our food to an outdoor table. The service was very friendly. The cappuccino was delicious. I'm not very sensitive to caffeine, but the coffee here was quite good.

Here I am!!! Saying goodbye to Florence on my way to the station, I found the café to be excellent service. Authentic café con leche (for us Argentinians). Thankful for the overall service.

Pleasant atmosphere and excellent service. Special thanks to Raffaella, always helpful and kind: she makes everyone feel at ease and makes the coffee break even more enjoyable. I often go there in the morning for my coffee, and it's always a pleasure to start the day here. ❤️

I'm Japanese and visited this place while sightseeing in Italy. I popped in for a light snack on my way back to the hotel. The food display window right at the entrance was so appetizing! They offer a wide variety of items, from simple sweets to paninos, and the atmosphere made it seem like a great place to stop by anytime! The sweets and drinks were delicious. ^^ The staff were friendly and seemed to be having fun. They're a bit cold towards tourists, but they chatted happily with regular customers, so I think this is a place loved by locals.

Non ho avuto la possibilità di ricordare il nome esatto, ma è uno dei momenti più felici che non si dimenticano quando si viaggia: piazza vivace, sole, architettura medievale e vino in buona compagnia. Che altro si può chiedere? Ottimi i fegatini di pollo, perché il loro rivestimento è fondamentalmente delizioso !!!
