We’ve thought we’d met the kindest people in Sicily a few times over our trip, but then we met Daniel and his mother who were by far the kindest we’ve met. Their genuine interest in our trip and generosity were above and beyond. Great food, great beer, and amazing people.

Pure siccilian hospitality and amazing snacks. You can have a funny evening with some good welcoming people. They offer you to spent the night in their house if you need a place to sleep. Heartwarming Atmosphäre.

Really cute place. We stopped along the Sicily Divide route for a little lunch! The place is cozy and feels like a gathering place for the whole town. Daniele and Salvatore are so friendly and welcoming. His mother cooked for us, even though the kitchen wasn’t open for lunch! The best pasta of the trip so far! Simple but delicious! We loved it! I highly recommend it as a stop if you're passing through Poggioreale.

Stopped by a lovely coffee shop while traveling through.
The local staff were friendly and helpful, and they really made an effort to make themselves understood; they were super hospitable.
Delicious coffee and sweet treats.
We got to sample some delicious local cheese and oregano, so sweet 🥰

We stopped by here while passing through, looking for a café for breakfast. The sandwiches were freshly made for us, the coffee was delicious, and overall, we received a very friendly welcome as tourists, both from the owners and the locals. We were also treated to some Sicilian hard cheese and a delicious watermelon on the house. It was definitely worth a detour.

After visiting the ruins of Poggioreale, we decided to stop for a bite to eat and found the Bar degli Archi. The owner welcomed us warmly, offering us some delicious local watermelon. The sandwiches we had ordered were ready in no time. The owner's kindness, the good food, and the cheerful atmosphere make me give it a well-deserved 5 stars.

After visiting Poggioreale Vecchia, we happened upon this fantastic place, where we were warmly welcomed with fresh watermelon and a very cheerful atmosphere. Delicious food, almost no wait, and a friendly staff earn it a 5-star rating.

While wandering around Poggioreale, we came across this bar.
It's run dynamically and cordially. Daniele, Giusi, and Vincenza welcomed us as if we were old friends. Their warmth and kindness exceeded all expectations. Top, highly recommended.

We went for a quick bite to eat and it was a great choice. The staff was very friendly, the focaccias we had were delicious, and so was the complimentary watermelon. Unbeatable prices. If you're nearby, it's worth stopping in for a quick bite.
