Caffè Calce In Ravello

We had breakfast here and it was great. Super nice and good prices for the Amalfi Coast

Great food, coffee or mixed drinks. Wife and I got antipasto plates and shared them while the kids got the sandwiches. The service is wonky but I think it’s just a language barrier thing.

Good food, nice place to unwind. The staff is definitely not attentive and none are in Italy for some reason. We ordered food to eat at the restaurant and ordered food to go. We waited for the food to go but no one updated us on it. Turns out the food to go was inside waiting on us. But it’s like you have to be a mind reader or something. Ravello is not happy with tourists

The only bar in the whole square where we were welcomed with a smile and where we were able to have 2 coffees at 10.30pm

The staff were very welcoming and helpful when we arrived! They guided us for buses and tickets. Moreover, they sell bus tickets which greatly facilitated our transportation. In the morning, before taking the bus, I had the opportunity to grab a bottle of water and a little something to eat. I highly recommend this place!

Siamo arrivati a Ravello a piedi partendo da Maiori, quindi abbastanza affamati, ma non volevamo fare un pranzo completo, ma qualcosa di più veloce. Abbiamo scelto questo caffè sulla piazza, che prometteva un discreto menù; gli unici posti erano all'interno: tavoli ancora con briciole dei precedenti avventori e ambiante un po' passato; ci siamo subito resi conto della confusione che regnava al bancone e in cucina per il continuo viavai di personale, spesso a vuoto, cosa che ha comunque allungato parecchio i tempi del servizio. Abbiamo preso un panino e una omelette al prosciutto, le quantità erano corrette, la qualità appena sufficiente, prezzo in linea.

The perfect place for a drink or snack while waiting the bus. Authentic atmosphere in this lovely bar ! The bar tender-owner was very nice, perfect service. For the story, I realized right after getting off the bus in Amalfi I forgot my shopping bag with some souvenirs in the bar. Special thanks to the bus driver who called his friend, the bar owner and helped me getting back the bag 🙏🏼 very grateful, thank you very much for your kindness to both of you !

Lovely cafe to relax at with a beer and some delicious food whilst waiting for a bus. The owner is lovely and very attentive!

Excellent customer service. We felt so welcomed and appreciated having a place with a beautiful view to enjoy a coffee and delicious sandwich. We were only there for 15min but it made a lasting impression!
