We were actually hungry, but they couldn't really offer us anything. We settled for a double espresso and a latte. It's a shame the ice cream flavors aren't on the menu. Ice cream is only available to go (?!) The coffee was very good and inexpensive. Recommended for a quick coffee break.

I was in Brindisi for a week and Bar Ausonia was my salvation. It was the only bar that opened at 5.30am. Excellent pasticciotti and coffee. Very kind staff

Il bar Ausonia è sicuramente il bar migliore di Brindisi… servizio veloce nonostante sia sempre molto affollato, servizio qualità e professionalità la fanno da padrona, tutto super dal dolce al salato, ma per me il cornetto salato è na malatia 🔝 grande Carmelo !!!

19/05/2025: For a perfect little break on the terrace! Very delicious and fresh pastichiotti.
01/05/2025: Nice and cozy place with outdoor seating. We ordered a short coffee which was good and a cappuccino which was tasty but the foam was not prepared properly and was not homogeneous. A ricotta cake with amaranth served in a plastic plate, disassembled and missing a third at the end of a very small piece, the taste is good, but that's not how you serve a cake! All in all, a very decent price! Recommended for a short stopover.
