Caffe Alvino In Lecce

We tried the classic fruttone, which was delicious, the tetta della monaca, and the pasticciotto. Everything was very good.

The rustici, panzerotti, and pasticciotti are extraordinary. Lunch in the cool indoor dining room on a scorching July day. The staff is polite and friendly.

Fast and efficient service. Compliments to all the wonderful staff, always available and knowledgeable.

Excellent pastry shop, where I recommend the Leccese coffee (with almond oil). You have to queue at the cash register, and the space is a bit cramped, but it's worth it.

A very beautiful place, with the best traditional pots of Lecce.

DO NOT ENTER ! this place is dangerous, you might want to never leave !!!! If heaven had a coffee shop, it would be Caffé Alfino. I came for a quick caffeine fix… and ended up questioning all my life choices up until that moment. Why haven’t I been living here?! Their caffè leccese? Liquid poetry. Espresso meets almond milk and they fall in love in your mouth. With lots of ice, I don’t even like sugar in my coffee, but every sip of this coffee sends me to heaven. I tried caffè lecchese from another place… no comparison. This one by faaar the best. And the sweets? Oh, the sweets. I don’t know what kind of wizardry is happening in that kitchen, but one bite in and I was ready to write a love letter to a pastry. I almost proposed to a fruttone salentino. The staff are so friendly, I’m convinced they’re trying to adopt me. Honestly, if they offered me a loyalty card or a room upstairs, I’d say yes. Highly recommend. 12/10. Will return. Might never leave.

The rustici are delicious, and the Lecce coffee is wonderful. The staff is very kind and helpful. The only downside, but only temporary, is the construction site right next door, but it will be over soon!! Excellent value for money too.

Un’istituzione a Lecce, e non a caso! Al Caffè Alvino della famiglia Catamo, il dolce non è solo una questione di gusto… è una vera e propria passione di famiglia. Abbiamo avuto il piacere di fermarci per una pausa golosa e siamo rimasti conquistati: nella saletta interna, intima e accogliente, è possibile vivere un’esperienza di degustazione indimenticabile, accompagnata da un ottimo caffè leccese, preparato alla perfezione. Dalla pasticceria tradizionale ai dolci più creativi, tutto è curato nei minimi dettagli, con una qualità che si sente al primo assaggio. Un luogo dove il tempo sembra rallentare, perfetto per godersi un momento di vero piacere nel cuore della città. Tappa obbligata se si visita Lecce, anche solo di passaggio. Un piccolo grande gioiello dove si respira l’amore per ciò che si fa.

Andrebbe ristrutturato il locale, come cucina mediocre. Pasticciotti buoni, panzerotti molto carichi di mozzarella ma nn filante, arancini buoni. Servizio veloce.
