Place in Piazza Sant'Oronzo, well placed. Standard and tidy service, payment only at the cash register slows down operations a little, but nothing exaggerated. Lecce pasticciotto and coffee as always excellent

Excellent Rustico Lecce, I don't give 5 stars because it was evening they served us the cocktails with a guilty delay but the place is truly recommended. A child had ended a game on the umbrella, the managers came to his aid without disturbing the customers at the tables below. Well done

Caffè Alvino is located in Piazza Sant'Oronzo, in the historic center of Lecce, just a stone's throw from the Roman Amphitheatre. It's always very crowded but it's worth queuing to taste their products, both sweet and savory. Having breakfast at the outside tables is a wonderful experience for those who are in Lecce on holiday: you can admire the historic center and at the same time enjoy a pasticciotto (the cream and black cherry ones are delicious) accompanied by a Lecce coffee (for me the best I have tried in Salento!). Also absolutely worth trying is the rustico (puff pastry filled with bechamel, mozzarella and tomato) to be enjoyed freshly baked. Their savory pies are also excellent. The staff is always very busy given the turnout but the girls at the checkout were very kind and smiling.

Certamente uno dei migliori bar pasticceria di Lecce: ottimi cornetti e pasticciotti pugliesi, bel locale, tavolini esterni sulla più bella piazza di Lecce (piazza S. Oronzo) in pieno centro, con vista sull'anfiteatro romano. Ci ritornerò certamente.
