Caffè Aegusa In Favignana

Amazing coffee and cannoli! I tried so hard to understand this dessert in Italy and Italian restaurants in other countries, but it was here that I fell in love and realized how truly delicious it can be! Thank you!

Nice local café at the main square, great for people watching, with some good pastry.

After trying cannoli at other places on the island, encouraged by the good reviews, I decided to try these from Aegusa Bar. They're good, but they're quite modest in terms of both ricotta and chocolate chips (they're served as is, not with candied fruit). In my opinion, you can find better on Favignana, considering the price is €4 each.

Very welcoming, the staff is always friendly and fast, but very attentive! We had an aperitif with a delicious tagliolini (a thin slice of tagliatelle) brought on the house along with the drinks, very fair prices! We also tried their cannoli, superb. The atmosphere is very nice and quiet, excellent!

The waitress was really, really friendly. The dessert was also delicious. The old man who paid the bill seemed to prefer cash. He greeted me with cash, but didn't greet me with a card.

Relaxing day with the family we stopped at this place because we realized it was the right place for an aperitif and I have to give my most sincere compliments to the girl who served us (Caterina) very nice, we will gladly return.

During our stay, we had breakfast there: delicious, generously filled croissants, and the cannoli are probably the best on the island. The service could definitely be improved; it's slow and the staff are cold.

Our hotel had a special arrangement with this bar for breakfast. The breakfasts were good, but the wait to order was long, sometimes more than 20 minutes with half the tables empty. One of the waitresses was unwelcoming.

A delicious drink served by special and friendly people. I hope to return ❤️
