Courteous service and excellent food

Today I stopped for a simple coffee and was surprised by the kindness of the owner, by his welcoming and sincere smile – a rarity nowadays. After enjoying an excellent coffee, I realized I only had a €50 note, putting him in difficulty with the change. With disarming naturalness, he offered me coffee with a smile. A small gesture that is worth a lot. Surely he doesn't yet know that he has just gained a customer who will return specifically from Rome for an aperitif, certain of finding the same warm welcome.
