Ok the place is a little dated for the rooms and furnishings but I must say that the buckwheat cake was very good the coffee also fast and friendly customer service price and average for being in Merano historic center let's remember and then during the Christmas period price more than normal

Das Café befindet sich in der Laubengasse und lädt zu einer kleinen Rast ein. Viele Kuchen und Torten aus eigener Herstellung werden angeboten. Der Kellner war sehr freundlich und wir wurden schnell bedient. Alles war wunderbar. Kommen gerne wieder 👍

very good sacher cake, average prices for the area (2 slices of cake, 1.5 liters of water, 1 coke and a lemon soda 25 euros)

Great cafe on Laubengasse. The cake selection is fantastic and tastes excellent. Places inside and outside. If you want to go to the toilet, you get a chip. This is well solved. Price is higher because it is very touristy.

After ice hockey, the two of us went there for a quick nightcap and I have to say, the food was really good and the service was also very friendly. The next time we visit Meran, we will definitely stop here again and try the desserts. Very clear recommendation

Nice café in traditional South Tyrolean style in the old town of Meran. True to the name, you sit in the arcades or “arbors”. On the afternoon of our visit there was a large selection of pretty tasty cakes, even if they are a bit expensive by German standards. Be sure to try the iced coffee, which replaces a complete meal. Perhaps important for the height of summer in Meran: no air conditioning.

19/01/2025: Wir haben sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende MitarbeiterInnen erlebt. Das Essen war gut und das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis sehr in Ordnung. Die Geschwindigkeit mit der alles gebracht wird, ist etwas ungewöhnlich (schnell) … wir hatten gerade den Aperitif bekommen kam in den nächsten Minuten auch schon die Suppe - kaum war die Suppe „ausgelöffelt“ war auch schon die Hauptspeise am Tisch.
18/12/2024: Siamo approdati a questo ristorante, peraltro accanto il nostro residence, perché cercavamo qualcosa di “classico e tipico”, niente nouvelle cuisine o piatti “scomposti, emulsionati o alternativi”. E siamo stati accontentati! Abbiamo mangiato delle ottime pappardelle ai funghi porcini fatte in casa e il “tegamino”, piatto ormai scomparso dai ristoranti new age!, con filetti di carne varia, funghi e spatzle. Veramente buoni. Un cestino di pane vario e saporito, olio evo del Garda e atmosfera da baita. Il personale gentile e sorridente completano la nostra cena. Prezzi inferiori alla media per piatti abbondanti. Da tornare senz’altro.

06/09/2024: El restaurante está situado en el centro. Las ensaladas son buenas, pero no hay mucho más para los vegetarianos para elegir. El servicio es bueno y los precios son decentes.
02/09/2024: Ci siamo fermati a mangiare la pizza in questo bel locale a Brunico e fortunatamente abbiamo trovato posto all'esterno. Pizza veramente buona ed avendo la moglie napoletana che ne ha apprezzato pienamente la qualità, posso dire che non sbagliate se volete gustare un'ottima pizza napoletana nel cuore del sud tirolo. Inoltre il nostro bimbo ha bevuto per la prima volta un buonissimo the freddo in bottiglia di vetro!!! Mai visto prima
