This place is worth it already for the nice elder ladies who own the restaurant - but the food is really great, too! Decor and everything around it make it quite special and authentic. A bit on the pricier side, but still okay.

What a lovely place! I was looking for somewhere vegetarian friendly and the food was amazing for both me and my non-vegetarian partner. The two women who ran the place were also so lovely and the place itself was great.

If you are in Mazara del Vallo you cannot miss stopping at Caffè Garibaldi. Super well-kept and very particular location, it feels like eating in the living room of a refined house. The hosts, mother and daughter, are extraordinary in the way they present the dishes and in the passion they convey. Moving on to the food: a spectacular appetizer of panelle and mini arancine, as are the swordfish rolls and the meat rolls. At the end of the meal you cannot miss a very fresh granita with Sicilian citrus fruits handmade by them. Congratulations to chef Mauro, who uses the highest quality raw materials in the best possible way. Excellent quality/price ratio. Absolutely recommended.

I went to this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend of mine. I was only supposed to go one evening but in the end I went 3 evenings in a row. This already makes my opinion on the restaurant clear. Excellent food, superb service, customer care and kindness at unprecedented levels. The restaurant is run by two ladies (mother and daughter) of a kindness and education that I personally have rarely seen. In my opinion all restaurateurs in Italy should have a dinner here for a refresher course on how to manage a restaurant. We felt at home. I especially recommend the pasta with anemones.

If you are wondering where to find an authentic and affordable yet utterly delicious meal look no further. The ladies who greet you and serve are totally charming and you are made to feel very welcome. We visited twice it was so good. There is a good variety of dishes so you will always find something you like. The mixed starter was enormous and so full of variety and taste. Pasta and fish also excellent, also it’s an attractive room to eat in just like an Italian home. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
