Had a quick coffee (which was excellent!) before walking the fortress. The barrista was super friendly and helpful (helped us solve a small entrance fee situation). Atmosphere is nothing short of spectacular, with vaulted ceiling archers and walls saturated with centuries of history. Highly recommended!

30/10/2025: Excellent bakery, everything fresh, no preservatives. Very friendly staff.

11/10/2025: I finally found an “old-fashioned” cream cannoli. I bought two, thinking of eating one right away and saving the other for this evening. I couldn’t resist and ate them both 😋… a triumph of flavors. Sincere compliments to the lady who served them to me, so kindly!
