Our group of four enjoyed aperitifs. The house aperitif was delicious. The service was very friendly and attentive, and they brought us blankets since we were sitting outside.

A restaurant on the top floor of a building in the center of Bolzano with a beautiful view of the city's rooftops. Seasonal menu and excellent dishes. Very elegant design and friendly service. Highly recommended!

One of our favorite restaurants in Bolzano We've been going to Arome regularly for years and have always been very satisfied – both with the food and the service. However, for about six months now, we've noticed a significant decline in the quality of service. On our last visit on November 8th, the courses were served far too quickly, leaving hardly any time to enjoy the food properly. We found the way the food was served particularly unpleasant: the waiter passed the plate across the table, forcing my wife to turn her head to avoid being knocked off. This seemed careless and unintentional – something one wouldn't expect from a restaurant of Arome's caliber. We greatly appreciate Arome and hope that the service will soon return to the warmth and professionalism that has always made this restaurant so special for us.

I ordered tartare, ravioli, and duck breast, and they were all delicious! I especially recommend the tartare. It was the best of all the Italian restaurants I've been to :)

Tutto eccezionale! Tutte le pietanze sono gustose, curate e ricche di personalità con degli interessanti contrasti di sapori. Il pane fatto in casa è molto fragrante e sempre fresco. Personale professionale, cortese e simpatico. Terrazze con vista sul centro di Bolzano con atmosfera rilassante. Lo consiglio!

Ein echtes Erlebnis! Schon das Stöbern in der traumhaften Parfümerie im Erdgeschoss macht Freude. Danach ein Glas Champagner im stilvollen Zwischenstock genießen – sehr zu empfehlen. Von dort gelangt man direkt ins Bekleidungshaus Oberauchzitt. Das Highlight: das Essen im Thaler Arome im 5. Stock – über den Dächern von Bozen. Feine Gerichte, tolle Auswahl, großartiger Service. Ich komme bestimmt wieder!!!

Restaurant Hoamat & Hotel Des Alpes

26/10/2025: The Hoamat is a beautiful inn in a fantastic location, and on a previous visit, I gave it a 5-star rating. However, the day before yesterday, we had the "Knödelroas with Beer Tasting" event, and if, like most of our group of six, you were there for the first time, that's not advertising and gives no reason to come back. Firstly, we had reserved a table for six and ended up sitting very, very close together with six other guests. When we complained, the waitress told us it was always like that, but then said she would try to find a solution. The manager replied, "Then we wouldn't be allowed to come to an event like that." Secondly, you had to wait in line for at least 15 minutes for the dumpling buffet. This could certainly be solved better by setting up two buffet rows. We had the impression that they were cramming as many people as possible into the restaurant to maximize profit. Whether this is a long-term benefit is another question.
24/10/2025: We were at the Bier&Knödl-Roas (Beer & Dumpling Roas) in the Hoamat, and the young waiter (Benjamin) was world-class. Very friendly, quick, and full of energy. A great guy.
