Stumbled in for a drink before dinner. The two gentlemen were very kind and patient while we decided on what we wanted. We had a Campari and Limoncello Spritz and they were excellent! 10/10 recommend!

Coffee in Piazza San Lorenzo, near the Duomo. We had two cappuccinos and a macchiato; they were delicious. We were with children, and both the manager and Ali (the waiter) were very kind to the two little ones and to us.

The serve asked me to stop watching at the balcony while I was still choosing. I was mid-order, adding items to be purchased. Then switched us tables twice for other people.

Old Wild West Chianti

23/11/2025: Warm welcome, thoughtful food, and timely service that minimized our downtime and allowed us to continue our journey more quickly. The grill was excellent and varied. The presentation was equally thoughtful.
19/11/2025: It’s not great, but pretty decent Old Wild West branch as a rest area restaurant.. quite fast and friendly service! ate some good Louisiana chicken with fried here for quick lunch before continuing my trip.

Umi sushi restaurant - I Gigli

14/12/2025: Today was my first time here, and I hope it won't be my last. Food: Not much to say: the menu is very varied, the dishes are delicious, and I enjoyed them. If my dad (who doesn't eat sushi) liked it, almost everyone will. Service: The staff is very friendly and well-organized, but there's quite a wait between each course (which I don't hate and doesn't bother me; I think it's perfect for digesting and eating more). Ambience: Very nice, with plenty of seating. I appreciate every little detail, and it's much more than I'd expect from a sushi restaurant. While you wait for your food, you can watch the chefs work incredibly hard, and they're very focused on what they're doing. Cost: ~€20 for the Lunch Menu, and ~€30 for the Lux Menu (which, from what I understand, is the dinner menu, and that's what we ordered). Desserts and drinks are not included, which is normal at all restaurants. All in all, it's an experience worth repeating, and I've attached my favorite dish.
