From such a refined location and attentive service, I would have expected equally excellent cuisine. My meal wasn't bad, but it wasn't up to par with everything else. Unfortunately, it wasn't one of those dinners you remember. I think it can and must improve.

Dinner at the restaurant. The setting is beautiful and well-kept. The atmosphere evokes the chic style of a farmhouse. Good service, good food. Nothing to complain about. The beer and salted caramel tart deserves a special mention, and the grappa list is excellent.
I recommend booking if you go on the weekend.

Company dinner with 28 people.
Very nice location, already known in the past and therefore a confirmation.
Well-prepared dishes with generous portions, even if not everything on the menu was available (they took the order and then returned to the table to inform them that they only had 3 portions of such and such, not the 4 ordered...)
But overall acceptable.
So why 3 stars?
Because it's really annoying to feel like a "nuisance," an "intruder" in a restaurant.
I don't like to generalize, but the wait staff needs a good overhaul and to realize that courtesy, kindness, and a smile must be basic ingredients if you work in a public-facing job; otherwise, you'll ruin the beautiful location and the good food.
I recommend you work on it.

Room was very hot we sleept on top Floor even with airconditioning on m. Airco was located 1 Floor lower. People are friendly and restaurant is really good!
I was looking for affordable accommodation for a transit stop and found an absolute gem that would certainly be worth twice the price. The rooms and the entire complex are very beautiful and lovingly furnished, clean, and well-maintained. The price includes breakfast, which offers a wide selection of pastries, cereals, spreads, scrambled eggs, and more. I found the communication and friendly assistance absolutely top-notch, as we unfortunately couldn't arrive until very late in the evening and couldn't find the address right away (Google is misleading here). I can recommend this hotel without reservation and would gladly stay here again anytime.

We stayed at this inn for two days on the occasion of our wedding celebrated at the Villa Borromeo in Viggiù.
Great welcome and helpfulness of the staff, very beautiful, clean and functional rooms.
We had a very good dinner one evening, they have seafood and meat food all really good.
Excellent price/quality ratio.
It's a shame we didn't have the wedding lunch, the place lends itself very well.
