We went here for pasta & pizza and both were the best we have had in Sicily! The pasta flavours live in my mind rent free - it was incredibly flavourful yet perfectly balanced (the true Italian way)! The owner also treated us to a marriage cannoli for our honeymoon which was very kind

Beautiful holiday in San Vito lo Capo, beautiful catamaran excursion with Buona Vida and delicious dishes at the Buena Vida Siciliana restaurant. From the first courses, the second courses and finally the dessert, a cannolo appreciated by all of us. To return absolutely ☺️

Fantastic, from morning to night: on the catamaran during the day and at the restaurant in the evening. Tuna appetizer, fantastic first and second courses! Truly top! We also returned for the last night of the trip, since we knew we would eat perfectly!

Recommended by Mr. Gabriele following the excursion on their catamaran, we went to dinner in their pizzeria / restaurant with an exceptional first course, an equally excellent second course and top wine. Normal prices even if we expected a small discount as said by Mr. Gabriele. Friendly and professional waitress. Recommended!

Super experience at Buena Vida – taste, hospitality and quality! We went to Buena Vida and we left really satisfied. The owner is very kind, helpful and friendly, he immediately puts you at ease and knows how to recommend dishes and combinations very well. We tried a typical first course with shrimp and scampi: a real orgasm of flavors, so good that you could mop up the last drop! The pizza was also very good, well cooked and tasty. The red shrimp tartare with burrata cream was a real treat, delicate and full of flavor. To finish on a sweet note, an amazing cannolo, crunchy and filled at the moment. The prices are a bit high, but in line with the quality and the area: all in all balanced compared to the overall experience. Highly recommended for those looking for quality cuisine with a touch of Sicilian warmth. We will gladly return!

All in all the flavors were there even if my eggplant tart with soft cheese heart was half cold and consequently not melted. The service was polite and attentive but it didn't leave a mark for me.

A warm welcome and sumptuous food awaits you at Buenavida Sicililiana. Patrons should be advised that the owner, Riccardo, an incredibly handsome and well preserved man of only 43 years of age, runs two restaurants and they are next door but one to each other. The pizzeria is at Via Dogana 26 and the restaurant itself (the subject of this review) is at #14 on the same street. We almost missed the experience here as #26 was closed and we nearly missed the establishment a few yards down the road. The food was wonderful and reasonably priced, the service friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble for Riccardo to translate any parts of the menu into English if Google failed. The house red wine at 21 or 23 Euros per bottle was amongst the best we’ve ever had in Italy, over several visits across the years. An overall excellent experience with an amicable and amusing proprietor- his sense of humour and our conversation with his lovely wife made the evening exceptionally pleasant. 10/10 - highly recommended.
