We met Riccardo and Pippo during the excursion on their catamaran, not only were they fantastic during our afternoon stay, but they also recommended us to try their restaurant, Buena Vida... we had no doubts, the food is excellent and their professionalism and hospitality is top notch... highly recommended... thanks guys, you are unique... If you want to eat excellent tuna, this is the restaurant for you.
Run by Riccardo and his father, Gabriele, this restaurant makes you fall in love with tuna right from the appetizers.
I recommend the tuna tartare and the tuna platter, both fantastic.
I will definitely be back.
I also recommend taking the catamaran excursion, also run by Buena Vida; it was a wonderful experience.

...after a pleasant morning on a catamaran with their excursion company, we enjoyed an excellent dinner at their restaurant, also in the center of San Vito.
A well-curated menu full of local flavors... A truly fantastic day thanks to their family-run team, both at sea and at the table!!!

For two, we enjoyed the octopus with homemade giardiniera as an appetizer, the octopus and tuna busiate pasta as a first course, the crispy octopus as a second course, and finally the southern Italian cannoli, split in two because they were so large, filled with delicious ricotta. The house amaro was truly delicious. We'll be back.
