In the Pietralata area of ​​Rome we tried this Pizzeria Trattoria. The staff is very warm and friendly, they recommend the dishes of the day that respect the Roman tradition. I tried the pasta carbonara which absolutely must be given a good rating, even the cuts of meat are absolutely good, raw materials of absolute quality. I can't give my best because in my opinion the decor of the place should be improved, but I understand that it is not a priority for the area. I will definitely come back to try other dishes. Fair price for the service offered.

Unpretentious location, but it was what I expected, which is why my opinion is not negative. We had the need for a particular table layout and we were satisfied without problems. The dishes are cooked and served as expected in a restaurant, tasty. We got Roman style pizza and it was good. The service was punctual, tidy, respectful and with a hint of sociability that made the atmosphere welcoming. The bill was average. What can I say, at Mamma Katia you feel warmly welcomed and treated well, my personal opinion is more than good.

Excellent food, courteous and competent staff, perfect value for money; ideal for families thanks also to a space used as a small but very functional play area; I personally managed to book with the Fork promo even on a Saturday and I really appreciated the possibility of doing so as it makes a dinner even more accessible to a family in a moment of high life. Fantastic pizza, perfect service, fast and helpful

Family dinner on the weekend. We chose to start dinner with an appetizer of cured meats, cheeses and vegetables for two people, which was good; then we continued with a capricciosa pizza and amatriciana mezze sleeves. The Roman pizza, therefore very thin, is very good, however I didn't like the mezze sleeves so much because in the amatriciana sauce the bacon had not been browned beforehand and the intense flavor of the raw fatty part was perceived. Too bad about the pasta, but I recommend it for the pizzas! The service is a little slow, but the staff is really nice and friendly!

I have to say that it doesn't look impressive from the outside. But once you pass the gate and the pile of wood, given that it is a pizzeria with a wood oven, you will find a whole row of new wooden tables probably used in the summer and here is the entrance to the restaurant with two large rooms. Even without a reservation they found us a table for 2. Not just pizza. But we went in for that. Super fried food. Good thin, stretched Roman pizza. Crispy on the edge and well seasoned. But perhaps with a few more minutes of cooking they would have been more appreciated. They were wet in the center. Precisely because they needed more cooking.
