Excellent food. friendly staff. They kept our place even though we arrived late.
The place is splendid and right in the center, right in front of the baptistery of San Giovanni, which, we were told, was an ancient tunnel that served as a connection.

Ótimo restaurante, comida divina, local perfeito para provar a bisteca fiorentina (uma carne dry aged) que é o prato típico de Florença, os preços são justos e as porções bem servidas, a carta de vinhos é muito boa. O ambiente é aconchegante. O garçom que nos atendeu está a 30 anos na casa, uma figura!!

Tuvimos un almuerzo aquí en nuestra reciente gira por Florencia y la comida era deliciosa. Todo el mundo tenía un prix fix almuerzo de 3 platos y desde el pan a la carne de res al vino, fue una experiencia encantadora. Muy cerca de la Catedral, recomiendo encarecidamente este restaurante.

I went for a business dinner with a large group of colleagues. They had labeled the restaurant with a modest "the usual place for tourists". I changed my mind immediately! The location is crazy, right in front of the Florence Cathedral. The restaurant is in the basement, in the "hole", which is accessed via a steep staircase. It is a warm and welcoming place, walls with paintings and lots of photos of famous people hanging.
The menu is traditional, abundant and appetizing Florentine crostini, excellent quality ribollita, sliced (instead of steak) rocket and very good parmesan. Quick and courteous service. Prices according to expectations for menu and location. I certainly recommend it

You have to go there at least once for the meat and the service, but also for a nice glass of wine. All of great quality, truly excellent in care and taste.
Few dishes, the right ones, well made and well presented.
