I dined here on New Year's Eve 2025, without a reservation. Everything was perfect: the waiter was attentive, extremely kind, and professional; the food was high-quality (appetizers, first courses, and dessert); the place is a gem of historic architecture, elegant and quiet. I honestly don't understand how anyone could give a negative review to such a place (especially since I noticed that the staff showed the same attention to my wife and I as they did to other customers inside the restaurant).
For the food I ate and the remarkable quality of the location and service, I honestly spent less than I expected. I highly recommend it, and I will definitely return at the first opportunity.

The staff were really friendly, from the owner to the waiter who served us. The food wasn't bad, but considering the price, "not bad" isn't adequate—it was bland, and not worth the price.

Enchanting, typically Tuscan atmosphere. Excellent cuisine with reinterpretations of traditional dishes and surprises and surprises, which I won't reveal now. Go there and bring friends, and it's an opportunity for an important invitation where you will surely make a great impression. I can't say more than that... as always, I say MUST VISIT.

A shore excursion took us here for lunch. It borders the main cathedral as others have said which is nice and to me the atmosphere is what I'd expect for an Italian restaurant. The inside also was well maintained and clean along with the restrooms. The service was fine, it was a large group of about 40, and they did a good job of quickly serving everyone. While we didn't get to choose from the menu, the meal included: half bolognese and half pesto pasta, bread, red and white wine, and olive oil on request. Portions were generous. Also dessert wine and biscotti for dipping. Everything was enjoyable, I liked the pesto best; though can't say it's the best Italian ever overall it was a nice experience.

After a lovely morning of touring, since it was lunchtime, my wife and I decided to stop at this restaurant, which turned out to be top-notch, so we ordered two excellent first courses (rigatoni alla buca and lasagna). In addition to the excellent service, this restaurant is highly recommended, and it's also very popular with VIPs.
