Authentic Italian food… Definitely not a tourist trap. The service was awesome and they understood English pretty well. Great place. I would definitely recommend going here. It has a great location… 30 seconds walking from the Cathedral.

Great place to grab breakfast with friendly service. I really liked the bacon and eggs but not a fan of the tomato-based sauce on the white beans that were part of the “Mexican” breakfast, just not for me. The tea was very good, same for the wine. Very accommodating for our large group of 7.

One, if not THE, best restaurant we went to here in Italy. We stayed in Rome but decided to visit Florence one day to see it, and we got there very hungry. One of the best points about this restaurant is that the food is well served, and another point that won us over is that they didn't stay on top trying to do everything for us to enter the restaurant, the girl was just on standby for any questions (I say this, because others restaurants we went to just look at the menu displayed on the street, we felt embarrassed when we didn't like it because the employee insisted we go in) and something unexpected and very good happened to us: we had the service of a Brazilian woman, her name is Mariana and she was extremely kind, friendly and attentive. Besides, in another country, when we have service in our language, it is much more comfortable. We loved the place, it's cozy, with a candle on the table (it looked like a very romantic dinner haha) and let's get to the best part: the food. How sensational! I ordered pasta with salmon sauce, and my husband ordered the bisteca fiorentina, they were divine! To go with it as a drink we ordered an orange juice for me and a wine for my husband, I'm suspicious about the juice but here in Italy I was having difficulty finding restaurants that offered juice straight from the fruit and this one came with a large glass and well full. I would definitely go back to Florence just to go to the restaurant again, they gained a lot of points with us from the service to the taste of the food. Congratulations!!!
