For an osteria, the price is a bit high, but the location in the heart of Florence justifies it.

I have such a good carbonara, ONLY in ROME have I eaten it 😍 (the capital of carbonara) CONGRATULATIONS 👏
It's creamy, the ingredients are balanced, and the guanciale IS THERE.
FINALLY a carbonara that isn't runny or tastes like yolk, and without literally 3 little pieces of guanciale.
What can I say, it was gone in 2 minutes 😋

I came here because it was recommended on Xiaohongshu (a Chinese social media platform). I ordered the supposedly delicious T-bone steak. The seating fee was €3 per person, and it also came with two pasta dishes. To be honest, the pasta was just average, tasting similar to Saizeriya. The steak was a bit bitter and sour, not very tasty. The person next to me, also lured here by Xiaohongshu, thought it was just okay.

We visited as a group of three and were very satisfied with our experience. We paid a total of €84, which is quite reasonable given the quality and portion sizes. There is a cover charge (coperto) of €3 per person. For drinks, we had a red wine for €15 and a Coke Zero for €5.
As for the food, the Florentine-style beef was both delicious and very filling; the portion price was €22. We also ordered a pizza for €11, which was also great. They served complimentary bread and oil as an appetizer, which was a nice touch. The service and hospitality were excellent, and we were seated immediately without having to wait in line.

I had the pleasure of having lunch at this restaurant on a Sunday. It was a truly positive experience. The place is very cute, the staff extremely kind and professional, and the food delicious. I recommend trying the penne alla boscaiola, but everything is good.
I also recommend the wide selection of gluten-free options.
Excellent value for money.
In short, a highly recommended place. I will definitely be back.

Since I was traveling alone, I found it difficult to eat bistecca at other restaurants because the portions were so large, but this restaurant served it in just the right size, and it was very delicious, despite being reasonably priced. The atmosphere was also nice. However, a woman with short hair and a well-built older man at the counter were constantly joking around and making a lot of noise, and the man was rude and didn't even say thank you when I said goodbye, which left me feeling very uncomfortable. Even though the food was delicious, I don't want to go there again. It's a shame.
