A very fantastic and romantic place. Reservations are required and the food is all delicious. The food is expensive, but the quality is good. And since the portion is so large, it is better to order less. Just one serving of T-bone feeds two adults. Truffle pasta recommended!!

When booking you need to go to their website by filling in all the fields, they will also ask for your credit card details so that if there is a cancellation you will pay €80.
There are two shifts for dinner at 7pm and at 9.30pm we opted for the first shift.
When we arrived at the venue on time we found a long queue outside waiting for us but within a few minutes the staff managed to seat everyone.
We started with two appetizers:
Parmesan ham and croutons, Parmesan artichoke and rocket salad.
As a second course we took a Florentine steak for two, the meat inside was totally cold and we were forced to ask the dining room staff to put it back on the grill.
Very good strawberry desserts with cream.
Compliments to the dining room staff who are always available and ready to resolve the various problems.
Too bad for the cold Florentine.

2022.10 I remembered the impressive taste during my visit, so I visited again this time while I was in Florence.
Still delicious T-bone steak worth the price
I highly recommend truffle pasta and tiramisu. I will visit again next time.

Perfect delicious restaurant. Good ambiance but bistecca alla Florentine is very hard to eat if you cannot able to eat raw meat.

Okay lets get started,
If you get used to eat Japanese wagyu, Australian wagyu even us prime beef you won’t be happy in Florence.
Florentin steak is 3 finger thick t-bone steak and they cooked it rare. You can ask medium rare for 1 person but it will come rare. With this kind of beef you need marbling and high fat percentage. And it’s kind of up to your luck, not every steak is same and has no standard when it comes to beef. For example the steak i had one day before in other restaurant was amazing. My wife’s beef in here was tender than mine. So no standard. Some cuts has good marbling and fat percentage so it’s really good but some no. I can’t completely blame the restaurant (has some blame for sure) this is how florentin steak is but needs to be more standardized.
Their lasagna is perfect. Spaghetti just okay. Wine is good. Prosecco real good. Mashed potatoes with truffle is dry. Porcini mushrooms as it should be. Michelin unlisted this restaurant since 2021 if they don’t get their things together they will never get it back
All the people in the front and the guy in the toilet are AMAZING but I can’t tell the same thing for others.

Booked for my wife’s bday. We got a Florentine steak for 2, ragu gnocchi, ravioli, and burrata. Hands down the best meal I’ve eaten that I can recall. Our waiter was amazing too, friendly and knowledgeable. I dropped my fork in a crowded room and the guy pinpointed our table and what utensils by the sound it made - incredible.

Came here for dinner on Christmas Eve. Requested a table in the front room. Had high expectations for both the quality of the food and the friendliness of the service.
Arrived at 9:30PM and were immediately recognized and seated at a corner table in the front room. Our server was Nicola and he was happy and consistently professional all evening. The staff was in good spirits for Christmas Eve.
We ordered the Cappellacci Burro and the Taglierini Tartufo as our primes. Since we typically share, we both agreed that both were wonderful.
For secondi, we had the Filetto Griglia and Filetto Pepe Verde. Meat was cooked perfectly to a medium rare as ordered. Wonderful Italian Beef !
We had a contorni of Fagioli. Who would have thought that beans with some olive oil and black pepper could taste so good.
We finished with some Tiramisu and passito. Nicely sweet to finish the meal.
Overall a wonderfull dinner with excellent and friendly service.
