Beautiful looking place with an intimate atmosphere The Genovese was authentic local cooking. Quiet at 7 30 p.m on a Friday but Italians eat late!

What a fantastic restaurant! Beautifully decorated with a Neapolitan feel. Friendly and expert service from a lady who wasn't rushed. She only speaks Italian, but we managed perfectly well together. The food is unsurpassed! The table was full with two antipastos de verdura and two antipastos fritto. Enough for the six of us to enjoy, with a sourdough roll on the side. Everything tastes like its ingredients. Nothing is greasy or interchangeable, as you often find with fried food. We asked for a good dry rosé because most Italian rosés taste too much like lemonade for me. And so it arrived. Smooth and dry, perfect to drink with the creative pasta dishes we ordered. Pasta with rabbit, with polpo and black olives, with vongole, and with beautiful large shrimp. We said, "Surprise us with dessert." The waitress beamed as she brought four excellent dolci to the table. The Neapolitan cake drizzled with orange blossom liqueur was especially popular! Perhaps the chocolate cake was a bit dry? But by then, we were already convinced of this special place. We immediately made a reservation for next Thursday!

Both wife and I 1st time visitors. Made us feel very welcome despite language differences. We did not have reservation however they found room for us. 😁 Very quiet little place , all home made meals. Loved it. Great for a Romantica ❤️ rendezvous. 5 stars

Buatta is a place of interpretation. The close proximity of the tables, the intimate and even romantic atmosphere, are what make it a unique place. The decor is eclectic and interesting (a special note goes to the restrooms), the staff is kind, competent, and empathetic. How's the food? Excellent! Tasty and dry fried dishes, an onion frittata and a cod croquette worthy of special mention. Then, simple and elegant plating: a Genovese with an exceptional aroma and a cod parmigiana, unusual and delicious. I'm only giving it four stars because I couldn't try any desserts due to my nut intolerance, but my companion tried a black cherry cookie that he found remarkable. I hope the dessert selection matches mine next time, because we'll definitely be back.

The staff were friendly and helpful. We ordered a Mozzarella in carrozza (freshly prepared and not reheated), a scarpariello (recommended), and candele al ragù. The place is intimate, reasonably priced, and located in the heart of Vomero. We'll definitely be back.

Neither good nor bad. A small restaurant located on a side street off Via Bernini. Average food, decent service. What left me speechless was seeing that the tablecloths, despite being visibly stained, are turned over and over but not replaced. As for the wine list, it lists prices different from what you'll be charged.

AMAZING place! All the food is locally sourced. But even more surprising is the wine cellar: all from Campania. And they include rare and uncommercial wines. The atmosphere is intimate and friendly. Refined, yet familiar. Traditional and gourmet. In short, I don't know how they manage to blend all these souls, but they do. Just one word: AMAZING!

11/11/2025: We went for lunch to eat a pizza compared to other times it was not as good as always and another flaw is that they no longer have Coca Cola but only Pepsi. Then I was speechless the cost of the cover charge of 3 euros per person seems a bit expensive to me for not even having a tablecloth or a placemat

27/04/2025: Siamo stati in occasione della laurea di mia figlia e siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti, la location ha incantato tutti con la sua eleganza e unicità. Per l’occasione ci hanno riservato una piccola sala leggermente appartata, con un’unica tavola per 25 persona. Abbiamo cenato con antipasto di crocchè, frittatina, sapureatielli e poi pizza a scelta. Il tutto molto buono e servito dal personale che ci ha servito con attenzione e professionalità. Il prezzo è stato nella media considerando anche la particolarità della location. Lo consiglio per vivere un’occasione speciale o anche per mangiare una buona pizza.
21/04/2025: Tutto a dir poco perfetto! Molto ben organizzato, pizza stratosferica. Locale stupendo il più bello della zona senza ombra di dubbio, dolci a cui non si può rinunciare. Non c'è null'altro da aggiungere... Paradisiaco
