A truly positive experience, the perfect place to unwind. I spent eight relaxing days. The property is nestled in the greenery of the mountains, where peace and serenity reign, interrupted only by the sounds of nature and the pleasant background music that accompanies you throughout the day, carefully chosen by the owner, Olivio, a warm and friendly person with extensive life experience, always ready to exchange a kind word. The hotel offers a well-maintained pool and rooms that are meticulously cleaned and tidied every day. They are equipped with air conditioning, which I have never used because the natural cool air comes directly from the nearby mountains. The sea is about 15 minutes away via a scenic road that passes through the village of Tortona. The beaches of Tortora Marina, Praia a Mare, San Nicola Arcella with the wonderful Arcomagno, and beautiful Maratea are easily accessible. Another positive note is the food. Giuseppe, one of the staff, is an excellent person.

We stayed for a week at this splendid property, boasting a breathtaking location, complete with a fantastic terraced garden featuring a well-maintained pool, literally nestled among the stunning Calabrian Pollino mountains at over 600 meters above sea level. However, it's just over a 20-minute drive from some of the most beautiful beaches in the upper Tyrrhenian area of Cosenza and Maratea, including the stunning Arco Magno of San Nicola Arcella and the Fiuzzi beach in Praia a Mare (CS), as well as La Secca and Fiumicello di Maratea (PZ). What makes the difference, then, is the professionalism of the entire staff, always attentive to ensuring guests' entire holiday is spent in total relaxation, starting with the carefully selected background music that will accompany your days by the pool without ever being distracting. Finally, noteworthy is the excellent food and wine selection, with a focus primarily on local meat-based cuisine at very reasonable prices. However, guests can also enjoy exquisite Brazilian meat dishes, ranging from the famous picanha to the flavorful feijoada, thanks to the owner's Brazilian origins, who carefully selects the meat. In short, given the value for money, a stay at this hotel is highly recommended.
