Fusolab organizes many activities and is an excellent meeting place for people of all ages and multiple interests. They range from sports courses to classroom courses; from themed evenings, to markets and shows. The multi-storey car park is very convenient and the panoramic terrace is truly fascinating. As for the evenings, I find them quite nice: there are many interesting events such as workshops and disco on skates, astrological cabaret, astronomy evenings and those dedicated to street art. Music is usually out of my taste but this is an extremely subjective opinion. As far as my experience with sporting activity is concerned, we are far from my ideal. I carried out sporting activities in the garage in front of the Fusolab, therefore not in the "central" structure located in the Casilino Shopping Centre. Bad smell of sweat, poor air exchange and intense heat in summer. The dilapidated changing room: I can't define it in any other way because the lockers had no key and no possibility of attaching a personal padlock; the toilet drain was systematically broken; several broken coat hangers; showers with shower heads blocked by limescale. We also talk about some significant things such as an exercise bike "parked" in front of the emergency exit. In my case, I found sporting activity very beautiful in itself, so much so that I subsequently continued in another gym. I did not choose to continue at Fusolab mainly due to the teacher's inattention and the level proposed being too high. The course I attended was, in fact, a basic course for beginners but still based on the explanation of elements that were too difficult to carry out immediately; this left several students stuck (including me in some cases) who did not understand the sequence of steps or did not yet have the ability or strength to carry out the first steps. I'm not talking about completely unexecutable elements but, in my opinion, they could have been proposed more gradually and suggesting greater preparatory steps to those who are less experienced. We ourselves independently realized that the web is full of simpler elements (or preparatory exercises to then perform more complex ones) and which therefore give even greater satisfaction. It would only be enough for those who teach to have the healthy curiosity to look around and be a little more proactive. Even explanations of the most complex steps were incompletely provided, with key elements omitted or provided after weeks of failed testing. Then there is also the problem of poor supervision (a significant aspect because discipline involves the risk of getting hurt) with several moments, even prolonged, of distraction on the part of the teacher who often had his eyes on his smartphone or was busy with some exercise or use of tools for pure pleasure, therefore not relevant to the lesson and not for teaching purposes. All done while we were using the tools and therefore assumed we were being supervised, only to then realize that whoever was supposed to supervise was doing something else. The price: too high for all this, both in terms of money but also the risk of suffering an injury. Personally I didn't feel encouraged to continue; I consider myself a person who willingly pays for a service and I would pay even more for an attentive instructor, good changing rooms and working safely. Obviously I cannot generalize and say that Fusolab for sport is an absolute no. I simply recommend evaluating what you pay: ask to be shown the changing rooms and classrooms before paying and always take the trial lesson, preferably not in the first weeks of September, when you are just starting out, the class is still empty and the teacher is very ( too) motivated to make you sign up. If you do an uncommon discipline, make an effort to make comparisons with other gyms because, nearby, there may be much better facilities and teachers.

Colte e Mangiate

04/04/2024: A good place for vegetarian and vegan cuisine. Excellent for a light lunch or takeaway
Bravi i ragazzi in cucina!!
