Simple but well-prepared side dishes, generous portions, and absolutely fair value for the quality offered. We went for dinner on Saturday evening, November 30, 2025. The owner welcomed us immediately with an entree of fried polenta and olives, with great warmth and friendliness. We chose our meats at the counter, and the appetizers arrived immediately: grilled caciocavallo and roasted mortadella. The meat arrived promptly despite the restaurant being packed: the quality of the cuts and the bombetta (stuffed meatballs) were excellent, in all varieties and flavors. To finish the meal, he also offered us a plate of rice, potatoes, and mussels made by his mother (excellent). But what left us amazed was the modest price despite the quality and freshness of the products. A full A, our place for our return to Bari.

We went to this place on a Saturday night. The food didn't all arrive at the same time; some ate first, others ate much later, even though the meat was all grilled. I wasn't crazy about the meat served; it was flavorless and had sinew. The cacio e pepe potatoes were a must-try. I expected much more, especially in terms of quality. The staff was very young and unmotivated. Avoid going on weekends.

We're passing through Rome for work, and I never imagined we'd eat so well. The dishes were one better than the next, the meat was amazing (I'm not exaggerating), and even the house wine was top-notch. What can I say? If you want to eat well and spend as much as a pizza in Rome, you can't miss the delights and kindness of this restaurant. It's a shame we're leaving, but we'll definitely be back. Thank you.
