This historic venue, located in the heart of the center of San Vito, has been able to completely renew itself over time, thus conquering other types of customers, on average more demanding, aware and oriented towards quality. In an elegant but not too formal context, high quality dishes and wines are served, presented by courteous, knowledgeable and attentive staff. It's certainly not the place for those hoping to eat well on a budget, but it's excellent for special occasions.

The restaurant is located on the main square of San Vito and therefore in an excellent position. The main room houses a bar and bistro area; the dining room is separate and you have to leave the room to reach it (in winter it is not very pleasant). The menu has grilled meat as its main element; the rest doesn't have much choice but can still be considered sufficient. We had first courses and ribs (it seems Finnish to me). Overall the meat was good and accompanied by excellent grilled vegetables, even if it wasn't particularly tender. Big flaw with the service: it's fine to wait, but if I pay more than 70 euros each, if I put the fork on your plate you have to change it for me and don't ask me to keep it!

Cibi curati nei minimi dettagli, sapientemente orchestrati. Materie prime di ottima qualità, un maialino tenero e cotto alla perfezione. Ottima la selezione di vini ed i consigli per far sposare al meglio il vino con il piatto scelto. Rimasto folgorato dal vino bianco Jiasik, veramente eccellente. Unica nota stonata nel piatto, se proprio vogliamo eccellere e curare i più piccoli dettagli, una temperatura troppo fredda della composta di cachi rispetto alla carne calda, al gusto si mal conciliava

I find this place a real culinary jewel that never disappoints!
The food is simply spatial, with particular attention to the quality of the ingredients and a preparation that enhances the authentic flavors of tradition.
Cherry tomatoes, in particular, are an exceptional side dish: fresh, sweet and juicy, they represent that special touch that makes every dish unforgettable.
The only “”””flaw”””” is the enormous success of the place which requires a reservation well in advance 😂

The Bottegon is one of the historic venues of San Vito and is located in the main square. Even just for the environment it is worth a visit, in case you have never entered. The staff is very friendly and when I'm in San Vito I'm always very happy to stop by, even just for a good coffee.

Nice place, specializing in meat. But when they served the steaks they didn't say anything about the breed, the maturation, the characteristics. Given the specialization, this is the minimum I expect. Maybe they usually do, but in my case they don't

In giro per una mostra a ora di pranzo uno spuntino veloce di qualità per riprendere energia e continuare il giro turistico. Molto gentili, ottimi spuntini e tramezzini, vini di ottima qualità, ma servono anche aperitivi analcolici ottimi. Ottima posizione nel centro della cittadina, posti a sedere dentro e fuori, parcheggio vicinissimo! 🌟🌟🌈
