This morning, attracted by the curiosity of tiktok, I went to enjoy a croissant: a simple croissant for €1.50. Nothing exceptional, a very normal croissant that can be purchased near my house for €1.10.

Business managed by the "deserving" heirs of Mr. De Santis. I don't know what trees are in Via di Santa Croce in Gerusalemme, perhaps plane trees, elms, mulberries... but they are beautiful and give the outdoor tables of this bar the coolest shade in Rome. Much appreciated in summer. But even in winter the owner turns on dedicated heaters. Nice pensioners and aficionados of the fleeting lunch populate it with pleasure. In the evening, the happy hours are very cheerful and with stratospheric platters. Danilo, among the numerous characters who alternate at the counter and at the tables, seems to me to be a good professional. The others are kids in transit who dance a little when the cat isn't there but aren't up to the task of guaranteeing customer satisfaction... unless you're super hot. At that point they all become super professional and caring.. :)) The chefs are very good and, at special parties, you can find truly special panettone and colomba cakes. But I go there for the toasted almonds.

Quattro palle e mezzo. Una trattoria moderna con un menù molto interessante e non eccessivo nella scelta, caratterizzato da qualche piatto della tradizione romana che si incontra ad una scelta varia tra novità e ricercatezza. Piatti invitanti, come i tortelli ripieni, in cui ho trovato gusto, equilibrio e novità. Molto buoni. Personale attento e gentile. Prezzi idonei al tipo di offerta. Ci torneremo.

Osteria che frequentavo in passato dove siamo sempre stati bene poi col covid non siamo piu tornati.Ieri sera siamo ritornati e abbiamo notato che nulla e' cambiato.Location migliorata piu luminosa con personale sempre all'altezza.Top sempre i loro panini e la caponata.Ottima la pasta fatta in casa e i dolci con prezzo onesto
