On Saturday evening, February 21st, after so many thoughts (the restaurant near my house never crosses my mind, who knows why...), I tried to make a reservation. It's always busy, but it's a bit late; maybe next time... but no! A cheerful, friendly female voice called back, telling me they still had a table for four. I took it right away, and I was right. A truly wonderful experience: the place is very quiet and intimate with nice, relaxing music. The cellar is well-stocked with a wide selection of wines. We tried a good Sardinian Vermentino and an excellent Pigato. The food, in no particular order: eggs from the shop, cod balls, squid ink ravioli filled with fish and seafood sauce, fillet with red wine sauce, stuffed guinea fowl, and finally, a sbrisolona and chocolate sphere. Everything was perfect! Great attention to food quality. It deserves the accolades it has received, and we'll be back. Finally, when it was time to pay the (adequate) bill, the "owner" of the telephone voice came out to say hello: well done, Sigrid! This friendly and brilliant thirty-year-old has a great future as a chef. Well done to her and her staff! We'll definitely see you again!

As for the service, initially, when we were almost alone, it was attentive and quick, but later, as the restaurant filled up, it became too slow, with long waits, especially for the bill and a fair price considering the excellent quality of the food. Really very nice place, friendly staff, good food (although not very abundant) Delicious homemade focaccia (and there is plenty of it, we immediately polished off the one they brought us and they immediately gave us another plate) They took a while to bring the coffee probably because in the meantime some tables arrived, along with which they brought us some mandarins (unfortunately we didn't get to eat them because we had to go, I just tasted one, good) Slightly different menu from the fork 🍽️ but I appreciated it, I will gladly return and recommend it Fair prices, just over €50 for two for two first courses, water, two desserts and a coffee (paradoxically we spent more yesterday at Piano B for oily mushroom hamburgers 🍔🍟 and two tiramisus, even though we had also had a Coke and a cocktail 🍸🍹 to drink)

Excellent restaurant to which I have returned and will gladly return several times, both for quiet dinners and for events such as birthdays, with a lovely relaxed atmosphere and good, refined and seasonal dishes.

I've been coming here for years because the food, location, and staff are fantastic. I've tasted some of the best food I've ever eaten. Highly recommended. P.S.: The focaccia served at the beginning of the meal is one of the best in Genoa, in my opinion.
