We had a wonderful time at this quiet trattoria.
We had appetizers, tagliatelle and cappellottoni with black truffle, and a truffle omelet. Everything was excellent. Service was perfect, the only downside being the single bathroom. Very clean, but unfortunately only one. I still recommend the place.

We were in this historic trattoria founded in 1917 in Sant'Agata Feltria on the occasion of the truffle fair. Excellent welcome in a family atmosphere with the table by the window overlooking the beautiful Fregoso fortress. We ordered as an appetizer the house crostini which were truly delicious and followed by the first courses... Capellettoni with black truffle and gnocchi al fossa both really delicious, strictly homemade and followed by a roast veal cooked really well and very tasty and roast beef with black truffle with a side of cooked herbs, really delicious too. To finish, a taste of the house tarts which were also really excellent. Kindness and attentive service completed this splendid culinary experience. The place was full, but the service was fast with normal waiting times. I must say that we had a great time and we will definitely return to try other specialties of the trattoria. The outdoor terrace is beautiful with a breathtaking view of the old town and the superb Rocca..I recommend the reader to try it and I'm sure he will be enthusiastic too..

The owner is quite gruff and won't let you round up the bill by a few cents without asking you to pay under the table. The place is always packed, but I have to admit that the tagliatelle with both porcini mushrooms and truffles were quite good. The portions were quite generous. I didn't like the fried porcini mushrooms, which were coated in cornmeal; they tasted a bit too much like popcorn and were a bit tough in the batter. Overall, the food is good, and the wait staff is friendly and helpful (except for the owner).
