Bortolato Pane Dolci Caffè In Padova

19/09/2025: I'm sorry to share this experience, which leaves me torn between satisfied and dissatisfied. I stopped at this pastry shop for breakfast; the place could probably use a makeover, though I believe the clientele is predominantly local and older. I see the ice cream counter and I'm not thrilled, I see the pastries counter and I'm no longer thrilled, then I notice that they were wiping the disposable tray with a sponge to place the new bioches (freshly baked?) from another tray. Not thrilled, I decided to skip the croissants and stick to the coffee. The coffee was good, in fact, very good, I'd say. This isn't meant as a criticism, but I hope it helps them improve.

02/08/2025: This bar is my second home. Loris and Ilenia are incredibly kind and attentive, always making you feel at ease. A joke, a perfectly made cappuccino, a chat, always fresh and wonderful pastries served every morning before sunrise, extraordinary gelato, a spritz... you absolutely must stop by. The atmosphere is clean, with a billiards table and games room, and free parking for guests. I go there for a cappuccino with a cream bombolone (amazing), and spend the morning reading a book and chatting with Ilenia or Loris. A true Italian bar, a symbol and protagonist of every summer I spend here. I've had the privilege of traveling throughout much of Europe, but you'll only find a bar this beautiful here!
