The restaurant is located on a hill, the view is wonderful, the food is excellent and the owner and his collaborators are very kind. We had abundant focaccias with cured meats and vegetables, various types of pizza, French fries and excellent kebabs. All accompanied by delicious draft beer and various drinks. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Rustic restaurant, quality food. I recommend the typical mixed flavor focaccia of the house, and the handmade Arrosticini, traditional and with liquorice; the latter may seem sacrilegious for a true Abruzzo native, but I had to change my mind!!!

Informal place, delicious pizza. The best fillet kebabs I've ever tasted with liquorice salt. We will definitely be back!

This may have been “the find” of our whole trip to Italy. Did ten seconds of research online which pointed us here. They were not really open when we arrived at 7 pm or so but promptly turned in the lights and invited us in. The waiter spoke no English and my Italian is sorely lacking but despite the communication challenges we had an unforgettable and thoroughly enjoyable experience. If you’re in the area and want a change from the typical touristy places I can’t recommend Borgo D’oro enough. Fabulous food, outstanding service and a home style atmosphere that has to be experienced

06/08/2024: we were yesterday with 6 people.. 05/08/2024... very nice place, service (?) good dishes.. so far everything ok.. the negative note concerns the presentation of the menus... being also a pizzeria I would have I also waited for the pizza menu... since I and another person had to offer dinner we didn't say anything so as not to put the other diners in difficulty (we didn't want them to be forced to choose the pizza) and we didn't say anything when going over the first and second courses. fish... now: glaring oversight or studied strategy? others in our same room had pizza. a place that wants to define itself as classy MUST COMPULSORYLY bring the entire menu then it's up to me to decide whether to order king lobster and champagne or pizza margherita... it's not me who has to ask for the menu considering that there is a sign in large letters "PIZZERIA "... these are the details that create good or bad publicity.. maybe they have gained on us who paid 50/70 euros more? does anything they certainly haven't gained a customer
04/08/2024: We were walking and decided to stop by chance, the staff immediately seemed friendly and helpful. We ate some really good pizzas and above all the fish is fresh, everything was perfect. If you find yourself on the Pescara seafront, go there and you won't regret it

10/03/2024: When I arrived at the restaurant eager to eat a pizza, I found the firm opposition of the boy in charge of ordering, who advised me to try the Angus steak. Reluctant, I try to decline the offer but given the insistence of the waiter (who I found decidedly rude), I decide to try it. The meat was excellent and well cooked, the price was also honest and correct. So if the food has been promoted, the service certainly needs to be reviewed. The waiter did a great job in recommending the meat, but the methods were really unpleasant to the point of making me feel embarrassed and uncomfortable. Compliments, however, to the owner who I found very kind and courteous.
