We popped in for a coffee by chance after exploring the small village of 47 inhabitants. We were drawn to the simplicity of the place and the friendliness and helpfulness of the owner. We decided to stop for lunch. A true gem. Truly exceptional tagliolini with white truffle, incredibly tender tagliata, and excellent baked potatoes. If you're in the area, it's worth a visit.

An excellent dining experience at Trattoria Borgo Antico this evening. The food was exceptionally well prepared, rooted in traditional Italian cuisine, with clear respect for technique and authentic flavours. Eating at this osteria was an incredible experience. A journey through the kitchen to discover the world of Filindo, a passionate chef who, one dish at a time, guides you through his wonderful cuisine. True, there are no menus, no prices, but there are recommendations from someone who made us experience an extraordinary meal. A seven-course appetizer, paired wine, first courses, desserts, liqueurs, and even coffee convey the flavor of a place that will remain in our hearts. We can't wait to return.

A truly excellent experience!
A typical Molise trattoria in the heart of the historic center, a small but charming place. The appetizers were varied and carefully prepared, with passion and attention to detail using quality ingredients.
The staff were very kind, helpful, and welcoming.
A special thank you goes to the owner, who graciously welcomed us and presented each of us with a delicious homemade panettone and fragrant oregano.

If you're a lover of hidden gems, places that surprise you because they're authentic and focused on substance rather than aesthetics, you're looking for the right place. The innkeeper and chef are father and son, proudly Molise-born. They showcase their region with seasonal, quality products, from porcini mushrooms to cheeses and, finally, the (spectacular) Molise white truffle. Thank you for (r)esist.

Wherever you are in Molise, head to Civita and try the tasting menu offered by La Trattoria: a small cannoli with cod will open a parade of ancient flavors and new nuances that will delight you for as long as you have room, accompanied by attentive, warm, and friendly service. At the end of the dinner, we were also treated to a small artisanal panettone and a jar of local oregano: we really couldn't have asked for more!
