Ice cream/yoghurt shop located south west of Lucca. Very good ice cream and yogurt, there is a huge choice of ice cream flavors and yogurt toppings. It is also possible to take crepes and other desserts on display. Very friendly staff, recommended for an afternoon snack or snack.

The ice cream is good, lots of flavour, varied choice. The young sales assistant is neither patient nor polite, it seems that customers annoy her. The place is really dirty, both the windows where the sweets are and the tables inside. It's a shame, I hope what I said can help them improve.

Trattoria Bonini

10/11/2025: Eight friends. We found this recommendation in an old Lonely Planet guide. We reached the trattoria, which is located in a remote area in the municipality of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana. We arrived on a Saturday in November and discovered we were the only customers. We entered a little wary, but quickly changed our minds. The atmosphere is exquisite, and the dining experience is excellent. The appetizers are flawless (salted tongue with giardiniera, a platter of crostini and cured meats, hand-sliced ​​Bazzone prosciutto). Among the first courses, we couldn't forget the perfect tagliolini with truffles and the homemade tortelli with ragù. The braised cheek also deserves pride of place. What more can we say? A must-try for anyone visiting Garfagnana.
